Galaxy Lab has announced that Haunted Space Arena, its core multiplayer title within the Haunted Space gaming ecosystem, will be available for public alpha testing from June 5 to June 8. The alpha test will begin at 10 AM UTC on June 5 and conclude at 10 PM UTC on June 8. This four-day window will allow players in the blockchain and web3 gaming communities to test the game on PC at no cost. The testing period is intended to offer early access to the game's mechanics while also giving players the opportunity to compete for a position on the leaderboard.

About Haunted Space Arena
Haunted Space Arena is a free-to-play space combat shooter developed in Unreal Engine 5. The game sits within a broader ecosystem from Galaxy Lab that includes a single-player title and a mobile mini-game accessible through Telegram. The mobile component has been tied to recent airdrop campaigns connected to the ecosystem's token generation event.
The current alpha build centers on Free for All mode, but the full release will expand to include multiple PvP modes rolled out gradually. Team Deathmatch is slated for either Q2 or Q3 of 2025. Additional modes in the pipeline include Collect the Orb, a team-based format where players chase a moving target through space, and Dominion, a control-point mode where teams fight to hold strategic map positions.

Early Gameplay and Leaderboard Competition
The public alpha features a Free for All game mode built around 10-minute matches where players rack up points by eliminating opponents. The exact player count per match hasn't been confirmed, but early footage shows space-based combat among debris that can be used tactically during fights. Players can choose from different spacecraft, each with distinct shield levels and health points. Every ship comes equipped with primary and secondary weapons plus a limited missile supply.
The alpha doesn't include token or NFT-based rewards, but players who land in the top 10 on the final leaderboard will earn entry into an upcoming KOL Tournament. That tournament is expected to feature large prize pools, though specific details and timing remain unannounced.

Future Development and Platform Plans
The official development roadmap places Haunted Space Arena's public beta in Q3 2025. The game is planned for release on major gaming platforms, including Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation, and Xbox. A key design element is the integration of web3 features, specifically asset ownership through blockchain. Players will eventually be able to own and trade NFT-based battleships with unique visual traits, available through an in-game marketplace.
Galaxy Lab has been running active community and marketing initiatives alongside game development. In May, the studio launched a user-generated content campaign valued at over $100,000. The $GAGA token, originally scheduled for late May, has been pushed back and is now expected to launch in June, though no exact date has been set. The public alpha provides an early look at what Galaxy Lab is building with Haunted Space Arena, blending competitive gameplay with web3 features focused on digital ownership and community-driven growth.
