About Immortal Rising 2

Immortal Rising 2 remains available as a free-to-play mobile RPG on Android and iOS, combining idle gameplay mechanics with strategic real-time combat. The game is built on the Immutable zkEVM blockchain and published by Planetarium Labs, known for their previous work on Nine Chronicles. Players explore a dark fantasy world while building characters through a complex skill tree system that supports a wide range of playstyles.

As part of its play-to-earn model, players can earn Starlight, which is used to obtain $IMT, the game's governance token. Starlight is awarded through leaderboard rankings in modes such as Arena, Stage, and Scarecrow, as well as through daily and weekly quests.

Players can also use the Star Vault staking system to further increase their earnings. The $IMT token, available on Immutable zkEVM and supported by centralized exchanges, is integrated through players’ Immutable Passport accounts and can be exchanged back and forth with Starlight. Starlight can also be converted into Stardust, another in-game currency used for crafting and item purchases.

The second-half roadmap focuses on four main features: the addition of SSS-grade Symbols, the introduction of a Third SSS-Grade Equipment Set, the upcoming Guild War system, and the launch of a new Skin System. Each of these updates is designed to expand the game’s tactical elements and provide players with new avenues for character development and competition.

SSS-grade Symbols were the first to go live, becoming available to players as of July 17. These Symbols offer stat boosts and unique traits, enabling more strategic customization and deeper combat variety. Players can now use these items to create builds that target specific gameplay goals, such as maximizing damage output or reinforcing defensive capabilities.

Following this, the development team is working on the Third SSS-Grade Equipment Set, which remains in progress and is set to introduce a new approach to combat mechanics. According to the development team, this new equipment set will not follow the existing design patterns seen in previous gear. Instead, it aims to bring a fresh tempo and tactical style to gameplay, providing an alternative experience that emphasizes a different rhythm in battles. While specific details have yet to be finalized, the goal is to offer players a new layer of strategy during combat encounters.

New Skin aand Guild War Systems

One of the more anticipated features is the Guild War system, planned to launch later in the third quarter. This system will allow player-formed guilds to compete for control over territories on a regular weekly basis. Although the gameplay format will remain player-versus-environment and completed solo, the results will be aggregated to determine each guild’s standing.

Territory control will earn points that contribute to monthly rankings, with top-performing guilds receiving rewards.  Among these rewards is the in-game currency Starlight, which the developers noted will be awarded as a reflection of guild performance, coordination, and leadership. Another major addition planned for release in Q3 2025 is the Skin System, which is being designed to provide both visual customization and functional in-game benefits.

Players will be able to collect and equip a range of armor styles, each with its own visual identity and lore-based background. These skins will not only change a character’s appearance but also offer passive bonuses. The specifics of these bonuses were not detailed in the roadmap, but it was stated that collecting more skins will gradually strengthen a player’s character. The development team emphasized that each skin is being created to feel purposeful, allowing players to reflect their progression and style preferences within the game.

With several key updates in development and scheduled to release throughout Q3 2025, Immortal Rising 2 is aiming to deliver a more refined and engaging experience for its web3 player base.
