Blockchain Innovations Through Kaia
Rent a Hero Z will run on Kaia, a Layer 1 blockchain formed from the merger of Line Next's Finschia blockchain and Kakao's Klaytn network. The merger aims to improve scalability and blockchain governance. Sega Singapore, which leads Sega's web3 efforts, serves as a governance member and node validator for the Kaia network.
The partnership between Line Next and Sega Singapore is part of a broader push to integrate blockchain technology into blockchain in gaming, using Kaia to support decentralized applications and NFTs within titles like Rent a Hero Z. This collaboration could establish a model for future blockchain-powered game development.
