MARBLEX Reveals New $20 Million Fund with Immutable

MARBLEX, the blockchain gaming arm of Netmarble, has outlined a new direction for 2025, focusing on expanding its web3 gaming ecosystem with a more diverse range of games. Moving away from a strategy centered primarily on role-playing games (RPGs), the company is introducing a Semi-Publishing Model that will enable a wider variety of games to be developed and integrated. This shift is supported by a $20 million joint fund in partnership with Immutable, one of the largest investments in blockchain gaming to date. The new model is designed to prioritize game quality, offering hands-on support for developers in areas such as blockchain integration, business planning, and marketing.

About MARBLEX

As part of its expansion, MARBLEX has announced a slate of new game releases planned for 2025 across multiple genres. The lineup includes a business simulation RPG called Self-Made Billionaire, which allows players to build their own empire and engage in stock trading, and Mercenary Children, a collection-based RPG featuring over 45 unique heroes.

In the third quarter, the company plans to introduce Dice Go!, a board game incorporating web3 assets, Meta Toy DragonZ SAGA, a collectible RPG with town-building mechanics, and PROJECT MINE, a farming simulation centered on resource cultivation and land development. The fourth quarter will see the release of PROJECT X, an action RPG with survival elements, and Age of Chaos: Mad Island, a dark-themed MMORPG featuring an overhauled skill system and enhanced 2D visuals. MARBLEX has also indicated that additional, unannounced projects are in development.

MARBLEX 2025 Roadmap

Deposit and Withdrawal Mechanics

MARBLEX is making several improvements to enhance web3 integration and player ownership within its games. One key update is the introduction of dynamic NFT metadata, which allows in-game assets to evolve based on player progress or game updates. The company is also working on ensuring that digital assets remain accessible even if a game is discontinued.

To further support player engagement, MARBLEX is introducing deposit and withdrawal mechanics, allowing NFTs to be securely transferred across different games within the ecosystem. Additionally, the company is expanding the use of NFT-powered gameplay features, enabling players to trade and use in-game items, characters, and gear across multiple game genres. To streamline peer-to-peer trading, MARBLEX is collaborating with Immutable’s OrderBook API, which will allow direct in-game asset exchanges without relying on third-party marketplaces.

To strengthen its community engagement, MARBLEX is expanding its marketing efforts through the Creator M program, a blockchain-powered influencer initiative. This program rewards content creators through smart contracts and has already demonstrated success with Solo Leveling: Arise, generating more than 12 million views across 300 videos. MARBLEX plans to extend this program to all Netmarble games, aiming to build a broader player community. The company is also working on NFT Adventure, a gamified NFT platform introduced in 2024 with Koongya Restaurantz, which will be expanded through collaborations with global intellectual properties in 2025.

MARBLEX: Grow Together

Final Thoughts

MARBLEX has set several key objectives for 2025 as it continues to expand its presence in web3 gaming. The company aims to onboard more than ten new games into its ecosystem, increase its active player base by 40 percent, and introduce token burn mechanisms to stabilize in-game economies. Efforts to improve player retention and engagement will also be a priority. With the continued backing of Netmarble and a growing portfolio of blockchain-integrated games, MARBLEX is positioning itself as a player in the evolving web3 gaming industry. The company’s emphasis on game quality, accessibility, and blockchain innovation reflects its commitment to creating a more engaging and sustainable gaming ecosystem.
