The Merit Circle DAO, one of the largest gaming-focused DAOs, has struck a strategic partnership with Immutable to expand its ecosystem. The deal brings Merit Circle's open-source blockchain network Beam and its native digital asset marketplace Sphere onto Immutable's platform and technology stack. Beam is an open-source, multi-chain gaming ecosystem built to handle the specific demands of game studios. It strips away development complexity and focuses on player experience rather than backend headaches.
Beam was previously exclusive to Avalanche. Now it launches on Immutable zkEVM, a scaling solution. The network will integrate Immutable's web3 tools, including Immutable Orderbook and Immutable Passport. These products let studios and creators boost revenue and liquidity by sharing in-game digital asset orders across major marketplaces. They also give web3 developers passwordless sign-on and automated wallet creation to onboard players faster.

The partnership follows Immutable's recent deals with Ubisoft Strategic Innovation Lab and Amazon Web Services (AWS). As blockchain adoption in gaming continues to face friction, these partnerships represent concrete steps toward solving integration and onboarding problems. Both Immutable X (IMX) and Merit Circle DAO see the collaboration as a way to deliver a better experience for players. The Sphere gaming marketplace is the starting point, but the two organizations plan to explore additional synergies across the gaming industry.
Merit Circle DAO holds one of the largest non-native treasuries in web3 gaming with over $100M+ in assets, an extensive portfolio of games, and deep expertise in both gaming and blockchain.
