The debut gameplay footage focused primarily on Yakumo, showcasing his agile movements and blood-fueled abilities. The trailer introduced new weapons and urban environments that highlight the game’s updated visual direction. While Ryu Hayabusa remains a central character, most of the playable footage was centered around Yakumo, signaling a shift in perspective for this new installment.

Combat and Mechanics

Yakumo’s playstyle introduces unique mechanics, including his ability to weaponize blood, a feature referred to by the developers as the Bloodraven Form. This transformation allows Yakumo to perform devastating area attacks and unlock new combos. Ryu’s traditional fighting style, including signature moves like the Izuna Drop and Flying Swallow, remains untouched, catering to longtime fans who are familiar with his combat flow.

The Xbox Series S version will run at a consistent 60 frames per second. The developers confirmed these modes are aimed at delivering both cinematic and competitive experiences depending on player preference.
