Gaming-focused blockchain Oasys has partnered with Datachain and TOKI, to enhance the interoperability of web3 games built on Oasys. The collaboration is the latest in a series of high-profile partnerships for Oasys, as it expands its ecosystem and progresses through its roadmap. That roadmap includes the recently announced “Dragon Update,” which will see the blockchain spotlight three pillars – interoperability, ecosystem, and killer content. The partnership with Datachain and TOKI reflects part one of that trident.

Oasys is a game-optimized blockchain that offers a highly scalable Layer 1 hub and specialized Layer 2 using Ethereum’s Layer 2 scaling solution. The ecosystem provides game developers with a secure and scalable blockchain infrastructure for creating more efficient, secure, and interoperable games. Among Oasys’ validators are leaders in gaming and web3, such as SEGA, Ubisoft, and Yield Guild Games, who act as initial validators in our Proof-of-Stake (PoS) based blockchain. Oasys’ team, combined with the biggest names in gaming, is aiming to revolutionize the gaming industry.

Oasys solves the challenges that game developers face when building blockchain-based games by focusing on creating an ecosystem for gamers and developers to distribute and develop games. The company’s trifecta approach includes a fast network powered by the gaming community, a scalable network powered by AAA game developers, and a blockchain that provides the best user experience with fast transactions and zero gas fees.

Datachain, known for its work in blockchain research, brings its Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) technology to this joint effort. With previous support from the Interchain Foundation, Datachain's experience in IBC is noteworthy. Additionally, TOKI, specializing in cross-chain bridges through IBC technology, further enhances this collaboration, aiming to simplify user interactions within the gaming environment.

Daiki Moriyama, Director of Oasys, highlighted the collaboration's goal, stating, “Our partnership with Datachain and TOKI focuses on improving gaming experiences through enhanced interoperability. This move reflects Oasys' commitment to meeting the needs of the gaming community.”

With the integration of the inter-blockchain messaging protocol, Oasys intends to streamline cross-chain transactions for users. Despite challenges observed in the broader cryptocurrency market, this alliance suggests a concerted effort by web3 entities to advance user-centric solutions. This integration aims to provide gamers with smoother interactions and reduced transactional complexities.

Furthermore, the collaboration suggests a potential for Oasys applications to utilize stablecoins from various blockchains, facilitated by Progmat Coin's connections with Datachain and TOKI. Oasys' association with notable gaming entities, including SEGA, Bandai Namco, Square Enix, and Ubisoft, solidifies its position in the gaming blockchain sector. These partnerships emphasize Oasys' ongoing efforts to enhance gaming experiences and foster industry growth.
