Payop has announced a new brand identity ahead of Gamescom 2026, using one of the gaming industry's biggest events to introduce a refreshed look and renewed positioning centred on seamless payments. As the official sponsor of the Gamescom Cosplay Village, the global payment service provider aims to showcase its vision of payment experiences that never interrupt gameplay.
Gamescom annually brings together game developers, publishers, creators, cosplayers, and millions of players from around the world. According to Payop, the event provides the ideal stage to introduce a brand designed around the needs of the modern gaming community, where speed, simplicity, and uninterrupted experiences are increasingly expected.

A New Brand Built Around the Player Experience
Payop's rebrand was developed in partnership with international marketing and innovation agency Fedoriv. The updated identity reflects the company's strategy of creating payment experiences that remain fast, intuitive, and largely invisible to players.
"When creating Payop's new positioning, we put the player at the very centre of our strategy," Fedoriv said. "In the gaming industry, payments often become that classic buzzkill—they break immersion and pull players out of the moment. Outdated systems force them to wait, enter lots of data, and lose the flow."
The agency added that the new branding emphasises simplicity, emotional lightness, and seamlessness, reinforcing the idea that payments should support the gaming experience rather than interrupt it.
Beyond visual changes, the new identity represents Payop's long-term vision for payment infrastructure. The company says it aims to provide payment solutions that are fast enough to match modern gaming, simple enough to stay out of the player's way, and reliable enough to support businesses operating across global markets.
Partnership with Fedoriv
Payop CEO Anastasiia Semenkova explained that the company decided to work with Fedoriv after recognising that its expertise lies in payment infrastructure rather than brand design.
"We stubbornly tried to build the Payop brand ourselves until we came to a clear realisation: Payop has deep expertise in payment services and infrastructure, not in visual communication," Semenkova said.
She added that the company admired several successful rebranding projects completed by Fedoriv before partnering with the agency to better communicate Payop's values, personality, and business approach through its visual identity.
According to Semenkova, seeing those values reflected in the finished branding has become one of the company's most rewarding milestones.
Showcasing the Brand at Gamescom 2026
Gaming remains one of Payop's core industries, where instant transactions have become an important part of the player experience. The company works with game developers, publishers, digital marketplaces, and in-game service providers to help make payment processes feel like a natural extension of gameplay rather than a disruption.
As the official sponsor of the Gamescom Cosplay Village, Payop plans to meet developers, publishers, creators, and gaming communities throughout the event while introducing attendees to its refreshed brand.
Visitors attending Gamescom in Cologne will have the opportunity to meet the Payop team and learn more about the company's updated identity and payment services.
