In-Game Utility Tokenomics
The PIRATE token, with a total supply of 1 billion, will serve multiple functions within Pirate Nation. Players will be able to use the token to purchase gems, cosmetics, and participate in various in-game activities.
Gems, slated for integration a few days post-launch, will act as the game’s hard currency. These gems can be used for speeding up timers and supplementing missing resources, and can only be acquired with PIRATE tokens.
Initially, only players who participated in Pirate Nation during seasons 0 and 1, as well as NFT holders, will be eligible to claim PIRATE tokens at the Token Generation Event (TGE).

The distribution of the PIRATE token is as follows:
- 47% allocated to the community
- 28% allocated to the development team
- 13.25% reserved for the Proof of Play ecosystem

How to Get Started Play
To play Pirate Nation, players must obtain at least one pirate, which can be purchased on OpenSea, Trove, or Blur. Players can select a captain for their crew to gain additional benefits, and pirates gain levels and have an Elemental Affinity and Expertise that impact combat.
