The city has fallen into chaos, with mechanical puppets turning hostile and the remaining signs of humanity in decline.
The game incorporates challenging combat systems typical of the Soulslike genre. Players can equip various weapons and specialized Legion Arms that offer unique abilities. A narrative choice mechanic allows the protagonist to lie in order to progress, which can influence the outcome of his journey toward becoming human. The title emphasizes exploration, tactical combat, and moral decisions within a grim and atmospheric world.

DayZ, available for PlayStation 4, is a multiplayer survival game set in a post-apocalyptic open world.
