Seventeen years. That's how long PC players of Saints Row 2 have watched console owners hold three DLC packs over their heads, and now the modding community has finally closed that gap. The Juiced Patch team, already known for fixing the notoriously rough Windows port of Saints Row IV: Re-Elected, has compiled all singleplayer content from the game's original 2009 DLC into a single mod that works on PC.
What was locked away all this time
Back in 2009, three DLC packs dropped for Saints Row 2, and none of them made it to the PC port released that same year. The first two, Ultor Exposed and Corporate Warfare, added a chain of missions focused on bringing down Ultor, the sinister corporation that also appears in Volition's Red Faction series. Both packs also threw in extra vehicles, new clothing options, fresh hairstyles, and an NPC homie voiced by Tera Patrick. The third pack, the Unkut Pack, added over 60 additional character customization options.
PC players got none of it. What they got instead was a buggier version of the base game and a conspicuous absence of the Balding Mullet hairstyle. The console versions sold these packs on Xbox 360 (using Microsoft Points, because that was a thing) and PlayStation 3. The PC version? Left out entirely.
What the Juiced Patch team actually built
Here's the thing: this isn't a quick rip-and-port job. The modders have gone beyond simply transplanting the content and have addressed bugs that existed in the original console DLC itself, including arc-based unlocks that were previously handed to players immediately and vehicle issues that apparently went unnoticed for over 15 years. The new missions also support co-op play, so you can drag a friend through Stilwater's Ultor storyline together.
The multiplayer maps and modes from the original DLC are not included yet. The team has noted those might arrive at a later date, but the focus right now is squarely on the singleplayer content that most players actually cared about.
To install the mod, you need a clean save file and the Juiced Patch version 9.0.0 or higher. Popular overhaul mods like Gentlemen of the Row are not compatible, and older Juiced Patch versions will not work either.

Why this matters to Saints Row fans
The Saints Row series has had a complicated few years. The 2022 reboot landed with a thud, and the franchise has been quiet since Volition's closure. That makes moments like this feel more significant, not less. The community keeping the older games alive and genuinely improving them is the clearest sign that the original Stilwater era still has real affection behind it.
What most players miss when they talk about modding is that work like the Juiced Patch is preservation as much as it is enhancement. The PC port of Saints Row 2 was infamously bad at launch, and years of community effort have turned it into something that actually reflects what the game was supposed to be. Adding the console DLC is the logical final chapter of that project.
The Saints Row series spans well beyond Saints Row 2, and if you want to explore the full run of the franchise, the Saints Row IV: Re-Elected guides are a solid starting point for getting up to speed on the later entries.
Getting it installed
The process is straightforward for anyone who has modded a PC game before. You'll need Juiced Patch 9.0.0 or later installed first, then download the PC DLC package from the Saints Row Mods forum and unzip the DLC folder directly into the Saints Row 2 root directory. Basic mods like custom radio station tweaks should still function fine alongside it.
For anyone who has been sitting on Saints Row 2 in their Steam library for years, this is the moment to actually boot it back up. If you're newer to the series and want broader context on the franchise's adventure games roots and open-world design, there's plenty of reading to do before you hit Stilwater. The Ultor missions are waiting, and they've been patient long enough.
