Valve has officially confirmed the dates for the Steam Spring Sale, releasing a teaser trailer that showcases dozens of incoming discounts spanning indie darlings and major releases.
Sale Window and Timing
The 2026 Steam Spring Sale kicks off on Thursday, March 19 at 10 a.m. PDT / 1 p.m. EDT and continues through Thursday, March 26 at the same time. PC players get a full week to sift through thousands of marked-down titles.
Valve's teaser highlights a handpicked roster of major deals and previews the "deep discounts" category, where popular games drop to their lowest prices in months.
Highlighted Discounts to Watch
The sale spans multiple genres and price tiers. Here's what Valve has flagged as noteworthy:
Featured Titles
- Unbeatable
- Dave the Diver
- Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
- No Man's Sky
- Pathologic 3
- Manor Lords
- Phasmophobia
- Strange Antiquities
The trailer emphasizes co-op and multiplayer options, spotlighting RV There Yet, Raft, Sons of the Forest, and Yapyap, which tracks with the current appetite for social PC gaming.
Deep Discount Section
The real draw is the deep discounts tier, which features older fan favorites at prices that undercut their typical sale floors:
| Title | Genre |
|---|---|
| Resident Evil 3 Remake | Survival Horror |
| Fallout: New Vegas | RPG |
| Star Wars: Jedi , Survivor | Action-Adventure |
| Vampyr | Action RPG |
| Metro: Last Light Redux | FPS |
| Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair | Visual Novel |

What to Expect From the Sale
Steam's seasonal events routinely feature thousands of games from hundreds of publishers, so the trailer's selection is just a preview. The full catalog becomes visible once the sale launches, and that's where the real hunting begins.
The deep discounts section is where you'll find games that haven't dropped in price for months. Even if you recognize most of the headliners, it's worth scrolling through that category for older titles that rarely see aggressive cuts.
Steam Deck Availability Note
Valve is still navigating hardware shortages that affect the Steam Deck lineup. The RAM supply crunch hitting the broader PC market has limited inventory, so this sale focuses on software. Anyone hoping to grab a new Steam Deck alongside discounted games should adjust their expectations.
