Strengthening Growth in Key Markets

Bandai Namco’s increased investment in SuperGaming aligns with its broader strategy to expand in key growth regions, including India, Latin America, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. Since its initial investment in March 2023, Bandai Namco has observed significant progress in SuperGaming’s business growth, community engagement, and game development capabilities. The renewed funding reinforces Bandai Namco’s commitment to supporting companies that contribute to the evolving gaming landscape.

Roby John, CEO and Co-founder of SuperGaming, emphasized the importance of the partnership, stating that Bandai Namco’s continued support is a strong endorsement of the company’s mission to develop high-quality games and gaming infrastructure. He highlighted that the collaboration is not only beneficial for SuperGaming but also contributes to the broader gaming ecosystem in India and beyond.

Game Development and Future Prospects

SuperGaming has recently gained attention for its battle royale game, Indus, which launched in October 2024 and has since surpassed 6 million downloads. The game represents the studio’s ambition to create globally competitive titles while maintaining a strong presence in the Indian gaming market.

The additional funding follows SuperGaming’s previous Series A investment round, where the company secured $5.5 million from investors such as Akatsuki Entertainment Technology Fund, Skycatcher, BAce Capital, and Dream Incubator. With continued financial backing and technological advancements, SuperGaming aims to expand its reach and further develop its gaming ecosystem.
