Roblox just turned 20, and the platform is celebrating with The Hunt: Roblox 20, a massive anniversary event that sends players on a chronological tour through every year of the platform's history. The 2006 map is one of the first stops, and it's already proving to be one of the most involved, with 10 collectible badges hidden across a recreation of Roblox Crossroads, a combat quest, and a free UGC accessory waiting at the finish line. What the 2006 map is actually about
The 2006 hub is modeled after Roblox Crossroads, the platform's original multiplayer game. It features a golden pantheon, a castle, a broken bridge, and a handful of secret underground areas. None of this is decorative. Every structure serves a purpose in the badge hunt.
Before any badge items appear on the map, you need to speak with the Builderman NPC near the spawn point and agree to help find his 10 lost badges. Skip this step and the items simply won't show up. That conversation triggers the entire scavenger hunt.
Where all 10 badges are hiding
The badges are spread across every corner of the map. Here's the full breakdown:
- Badge 1: Inside the broken golden pantheon, up the purple stairs from spawn.
- Badge 2: Jump from the pantheon to the brown platform on its left side.
- Badge 3: Inside the castle, up the purple stairs to the corner.
- Badge 4: On the opposite edge of the castle, reachable via ladders.
- Badge 5: Use the trampoline on the right side of the map to reach this elevated badge.
- Badge 6: On top of the broken bridge. Parkour from the trampoline area or take the longer route via the pantheon stairs and turn left.
- Badge 7: Ground level near the trampoline, sitting on a white platform.
- Badge 8: Very close to Badge 6. Take the pantheon stairs, turn left, and run up the bridge.
- Badge 9: Inside the castle, find the golden-bordered underground entrance with stairs leading below.
- Badge 10: Underneath the golden pantheon. Skip the main stairs, move to the structure's left side, and slip through a gap on the lower level into the hidden room.
Once all 10 are collected, return to Builderman and select the "I found them all" dialogue to complete that portion of the quest.
The Crossroads combat quest
After finishing the badge hunt, step through the Crossroads portal near spawn. The objective here is simple: get 3 eliminations using the weapons in your hotbar.
The Bomb, Bazooka, and Slingshot are the most effective options. All three deal enough damage to secure eliminations in one or two hits, and their range means you don't need to be right next to a target. The Crossroads map is small and players are constantly moving, so area-of-effect weapons do the heavy lifting here.
Claiming the Crossroads Tower UGC
Finish both the badge hunt and the combat quest, then head back to the 2006 hub. A ronin-style NPC near the spawn area holds the reward: the Crossroads Tower accessory, a hat for your Roblox avatar that's exclusive to this event.
This is the kind of limited cosmetic that disappears when the event ends, so clearing the 2006 map before the deadline is worth prioritizing.
