AlwaysGeeky Games has announced that Voxie Tactics launches on iOS and Android on August 4. The tactical RPG makes the jump to touchscreens with full feature parity to the PC release, letting players on phones and tablets access the same turn-based combat and progression systems that desktop users have had since day one.

Full tactical gameplay on handheld devices

The mobile version ships with everything: terrain-based strategy, character progression, gear loadouts, and skill trees. Every Voxie available on PC transfers over, and both ranked PvP and casual skirmish modes are playable at launch.

Matchmaking works across platforms from the start. Mobile players compete directly against desktop opponents in the same queues. AlwaysGeeky plans to roll out a mobile-specific UI and an AI training mode in future updates to help new players get up to speed.

Web3 integration stays intact

The game remains free-to-play with optional blockchain features. Players who want to own their in-game assets can link wallets and interact with the $VOXEL token and Voxies NFT collection. The mobile release doesn't change how the token economy works or how NFT items behave in combat.

Final Thoughts

AlwaysGeeky's team includes veterans from EA and Ubisoft who've built a tactical RPG that layers web3 ownership onto traditional genre mechanics. The mobile launch is the biggest distribution push yet for that design philosophy. Downloads go live on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store on August 4, opening Voxie Tactics to players who prefer handheld gaming.
