Wilder World Reveals Rewards Programs

Wilder World has unveiled three major reward programs set to launch soon, each designed to deepen user engagement and create new earning pathways within its web3 metaverse. The programs (Metropolis, ZBI, and MEGADROP) enable users to earn $WILD and $MEOW tokens through staking, gameplay, daily activity, and broader ecosystem participation. These systems are being rolled out as the platform gears up for its next wave of development and public access.

Metropolis and $WILD token

Metropolis represents the revamped staking infrastructure for $WILD, which is being moved to Z Chain, the project's EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain. Z Chain went live in February 2025 and was built to handle gaming, AI, social networking, and high-frequency trading. Moving staking to this chain cuts transaction costs significantly compared to Ethereum and speeds up deposits, withdrawals, and reward claims.

The migration happens automatically at the protocol level, so current stakers don't need to do anything. All $WILD and liquidity provider positions transfer over at no cost. The updated Metropolis system launches in phases and comes with a reduced total reward rate for both $WILD and LP staking, down 10 to 30 percent depending on the pool.

This reduction is intended to keep token inflation in check over the long term. Dynamic annual percentage rates will now adjust in real time based on how many tokens are staked across the network. Another major change: previously locked staking rewards become immediately withdrawable after migration, replacing the old 12-month lock-up requirement.

ZBI and $MEOW tokens

ZBI is a new daily activity reward program that distributes $MEOW tokens based on what users do inside Wilder World. It's available to Pro subscribers and rewards participation in metaverse activities like gameplay, trading, and messaging through ZERO, the platform's social layer. Earnings are calculated daily using an algorithm that applies multipliers for users who hold Genesis NFTs or ecosystem tokens.

The program includes a referral system that pays 30 percent of a referred user's subscription revenue and trading fees back to the person who brought them in. This structure is meant to drive organic community growth while giving active users a reason to stay engaged.

MEGADROP and CATNIP

MEGADROP introduces a staking system where users earn CATNIP, a metric that determines eligibility and allocation size for future airdrops of new ecosystem tokens. Staking either $WILD or $MEOW generates CATNIP over time. This mechanism is being positioned as a core part of the long-term rewards infrastructure, linking token staking directly to participation in upcoming project launches and expansions.

All three reward programs will be accessible through the ZERO interface. The platform is being designed to simplify staking and rewards participation, with multipliers built in to favor long-term participants and recognize consistent activity within the ecosystem.

Preparing for Super Early Access

The rollout of Metropolis, ZBI, and MEGADROP coincides with preparations for Wilder World's Super Early Access launch, set for late July 2025 on the Epic Games Store. The free-to-play metaverse title will launch with third-person and first-person shooter modes, arena gameplay, and a gear economy.

These features are expected to tie into the new rewards systems, allowing players to spend both crypto and fiat on in-game purchases. All in-game spending feeds into a deflationary model where revenues are used to buy back and burn $WILD tokens, shrinking the total supply over time.

Wilder World has also outlined plans to expand to Steam, GeForce Now, and potentially consoles, with talks underway with several major partners. Earlier this month, the project partnered with Lamborghini to bring 600 digital Temerario supercars into the metaverse, adding another layer to the platform's virtual asset lineup and brand collaborations.
