Yield Guild Games (YGG) has officially launched vibecode.game, a new editorial and discovery platform focused on vibe-coded games, while announcing a partnership with Minds by Animoca Brands for the platform's inaugural global game jam.
Launching on July 13, 2026, the vibecode.game x Minds by Animoca Brands Game Jam will introduce developers to the first edition of VibeBlitz, a new series of virtual competitions aimed at supporting creators using AI-assisted game development tools. The four-week event also marks the public debut of Game Designer Mind, a specialized AI agent developed by Minds by Animoca Brands to help streamline game design.

vibecode.game Aims to Solve AI Game Discovery Challenges
The launch comes as AI-assisted development continues to reshape game creation. Vibe coding allows developers—including those with little or no programming experience—to build games using AI-powered tools and prompt-based workflows.
While AI has significantly lowered the barriers to creating games, discoverability remains one of the industry's largest challenges. According to a 2026 MarketsandMarkets report, the AI code assistant market is expected to grow from $8.14 billion in 2025 to $127.05 billion by 2032. At the same time, a 2026 Naavik Digest study found that although agentic AI contributed to a 77% increase in mobile game releases, commercial success rates have remained largely unchanged.
YGG positions vibecode.game as a solution to this growing distribution problem. Rather than focusing solely on publishing, the platform combines game discovery with editorial coverage, developer profiles, rankings, reviews, community guides, and player-driven validation.
The platform also functions as a permissionless publishing hub, allowing creators to upload browser-based games and immediately make them available to players while building communities around their projects.
Gabby Dizon, co-founder of YGG, said the combination of game jams and the new platform is designed to bring together creators, players, and AI-powered development tools while making game publishing accessible regardless of experience level.
Minds by Animoca Brands Introduces Game Designer Mind
The collaboration also marks the public rollout of Game Designer Mind, a persistent AI agent created by Minds by Animoca Brands.
Unlike AI coding assistants that primarily generate code, Game Designer Mind focuses on game design itself. The AI helps creators develop mechanics, balance gameplay systems, refine progression, and expand simple prompts into complete game concepts.
Developers can use the Game Designer Mind independently or alongside other AI coding tools throughout their production pipeline.
Animoca Brands co-founder and executive chairman Yat Siu said that while vibe coding has simplified software development, strong game design remains essential for creating successful games. The new AI agent is intended to help creators move from initial concepts to playable experiences before publishing directly on vibecode.game.
The partnership also builds on the longstanding relationship between the two companies. Animoca Brands became an early investor in YGG during its 2021 seed funding round, with both organizations sharing a focus on expanding access to digital creation and Web3 technologies.
vibecode.game x Minds Game Jam Schedule
The inaugural VibeBlitz competition will run from July 13 through August 10, 2026, featuring a combined prize pool of $5,000, split evenly between Minds platform credits and $YGG tokens.
The event follows a four-stage schedule:
- July 13 – July 27: Build Phase, where creators develop games using Game Designer Mind alongside any AI coding tools of their choice before submitting projects to vibecode.game.
- July 27 – August 2: Community Voting, allowing players to test entries and vote for their favorites.
- August 3 – August 9: Judging Period, with final evaluations conducted by a panel including YGG co-founder Gabby Dizon and Animoca Labs Vice President Mo Ezeldin.
- August 10: Winners announced.
To help participants prepare, YGG will host a Game Design Masterclass on its official Discord server on July 16, 2026, from 21:00 to 22:00 GMT+8. The session will be led by the competition judges and will demonstrate practical workflows using the Game Designer Mind to improve game mechanics, balance systems, and overall project development.
How to Participate
Developers interested in joining the competition can register between July 13 and July 27 through the official event page on vibecode.game.
Participants must activate their personal Game Designer Mind through the Minds platform by selecting the Game Designer option within the One-Click Minds interface. They can then use the AI assistant to develop mechanics and systems before completing their projects using any preferred AI coding workflow.
Completed browser games must be uploaded through the vibecode.game event page by July 27 to qualify for judging.
With vibecode.game now live, YGG is positioning the platform as a dedicated destination for discovering AI-assisted browser games while providing creators with publishing tools, editorial exposure, and community engagement. The partnership with Minds by Animoca Brands adds AI-powered game design support to that ecosystem, with the VibeBlitz series serving as its first large-scale showcase.
