Season 16 of A Dusty Trip on Roblox is live, and it brings more content than any recent update: three new vehicles (including a flyable twin fighter jet), six new weapons and utility items, and a 35-tier Battle Pass with two exclusive cars sitting at the very end. If you're jumping in fresh or just want to know exactly what dropped and how to get it, this guide covers every unlock path.

What's new in A Dusty Trip Season 16?

The headline additions break down into three categories: vehicles, weapons and items, and Battle Pass rewards. Two of the new vehicles are cars, and the third is an aircraft. The six new items are mostly combat-focused, with one utility tool that changes how you move things across the map entirely.

How do you get the new vehicles in Season 16?

Each of the three new vehicles has a completely different unlock method, so your path depends on which one you're after.

VehicleTypeHow to get it
TwynTwin fighter jet1% drop from the Car Raffle Limited Time Shop (spin with Car Tokens)
KodiakOff-road vehicleTier 35, Premium Season 16 Battle Pass
VossenEuropean sports wagonTier 35, free-tier Season 16 Battle Pass

Twyn is the standout. It flies at high speed for extended stretches, making it the fastest way to cover ground this season. The catch is that it's a 1% drop from the Car Raffle Limited Time Shop. You spin using Car Tokens, and at those odds, you'll need to stack a lot of tokens before it shows up. The Car Tokens you earn through Battle Pass tiers feed directly into this raffle, so grinding the pass pays off even if you're chasing the jet.

Kodiak is the premium track reward: a rugged off-road vehicle built for rough terrain. You need to own the Premium Season 16 Battle Pass and reach Tier 35 to claim it.

Vossen is the free-to-earn pick. It's a powerful European sports wagon that sits at Tier 35 of the free Battle Pass track, meaning any player who grinds through the season can grab it without spending anything.

What are all the new weapons and items in Season 16?

Six new items joined the game this season. Five are weapons designed to speed up zombie and boss kills. The sixth is something different.

ItemWhat it does
Golden M4A1Heavy firepower, behaves like the standard M4A1 with extra flair
Chain RifleHigh firing speed, very low damage per hit
Nano Rocket RifleCompact launcher with strong explosive damage, short range
Acidic PistolFires corrosive rounds that deal damage over time
Grease GunAutomatic with a steady fire rate, very low damage
RopeAttaches to cars to pull objects, vehicles, and other items

The Rope deserves a separate mention because it's not a weapon at all. Clip it to a car and you can drag other vehicles, objects, or loose gear across the map with you. It opens up practical hauling options that weren't possible before.

For combat, the Nano Rocket Rifle and Acidic Pistol are the weapons to lean on when you need to drop a boss fast. The Chain Rifle and Grease Gun both trade damage for fire rate, which makes them less effective against high-health targets.

How does the Season 16 Battle Pass work?

The pass runs 35 tiers and splits into a free track and a premium track. Both tracks dish out Car Tokens, car skins, Mirror Charms, emotes, and weapon skins as you climb. The two exclusive season cars, Kodiak and Vossen, both land at the final Tier 35 on their respective tracks.

XP is the only currency that moves you up the tiers. The fastest ways to earn it are Daily, Weekly, and Seasonal Quests on top of regular play. There's a hard deadline, so reaching Tier 35 before the season closes is the only way to secure either car.

For players going after Twyn specifically, the loop is: complete quests to earn XP, climb tiers to collect Car Tokens, then spend those tokens on Car Raffle spins. At 1% odds per spin, the more tokens you accumulate before spinning, the better your chances over time.

What quality-of-life fixes came with Season 16?

Beyond the new content, the update addressed several bugs that had been frustrating players for a while.

  • Fixed issues with Mirror Charms, the Modern Car Audio System, third-person view, and camera behavior
  • Fixed a bug that launched cars across the map when they spawned in
  • Improved travel distance for several low-level vehicles

The spawn-launch bug fix in particular should make early-game vehicle management much smoother.

Making the most of Season 16

The priority order depends on what you want. Free players should focus on quest completion to hit Tier 35 before the season ends and lock in the Vossen. Premium pass holders have the same deadline but are working toward Kodiak instead. Anyone chasing Twyn should treat every Battle Pass tier as a step toward more Car Tokens and keep spinning the raffle consistently rather than in one burst.

For combat, build your loadout around the Nano Rocket Rifle and Acidic Pistol for boss encounters, and keep the Rope in your kit for any run where you're hauling gear or vehicles across the map.
