Roblox Hooked Best Skills Tier List ...

Traits in Hooked are passive bonuses that attach directly to your hook and stay active throughout every match. You start with the default Common trait, which does absolutely nothing for your stats, so getting a better one should be your first real goal in Roblox. This guide covers every trait in the game, their exact drop chances, and the fastest way to reroll toward something worth keeping.

How do traits work in Hooked?

Traits are always-on passive modifiers tied to a specific hook. They are not activated manually and do not expire. Every hook you own can have its trait rerolled independently, so you can build out multiple hooks with different trait focuses depending on your playstyle.

The trait system spans five rarities: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. Higher rarity versions of the same trait (Brawler I through Brawler III, for example) scale up the effect, while Legendary traits either reach tier IV strength or are entirely unique to that rarity tier.

How to reroll traits in Hooked

Head to the lobby and find the Reroll Hook Trait NPC, who stands next to the anvil. Interact with him, select the hook you want to change, and spend Forging Stones to roll a new trait. The process is straightforward but the cost adds up, so farm Forging Stones before you start chasing Legendary rolls.

How to get Forging Stones

There are two main ways to build up your Forging Stone supply:

  • Redeem active codes for free Forging Stones without playing a single match
  • Complete in-game quests and play matches regularly to earn them over time

Codes are the fastest early source, so check for active ones before spending anything. What does each trait do?

Most traits scale with their roman numeral tier. A Brawler III deals more damage than a Brawler I, and Mighty IV at Legendary is the strongest version of that trait in the game.

All traits and drop chances

Every trait has a fixed drop probability when you reroll. Here is the full breakdown:

The combined Legendary drop rate across all five Legendary traits sits at 2.6%. That means you should expect to reroll dozens of times before landing a Legendary, so save Forging Stones and do not burn them chasing a specific one unless you have a large reserve.

What is the best trait in Hooked?

After testing across multiple hook types, Mighty IV stands out as the top Legendary trait for most situations. The combination of higher damage, increased size, and stronger damage output outweighs the speed penalty in the majority of matches. Execute is a strong alternative if your playstyle involves finishing off weakened targets, since the cooldown reduction gives you more opportunities per match.

For players not yet hitting Legendary rolls, Brawler II or III are solid Rare and Epic options that give clean damage increases without any trade-offs.

The traits that are genuinely not worth keeping at any tier are Common (no effect), Flawed (pure debuff), and the base Fish Hook I if you do not specifically want a slower hook with better return speed.
