The Halloween event in Roblox Ride a Pet runs on a simple loop: collect Candy, convert it to Halloween Tokens, spend those Tokens on Halloween Eggs at the Shop Guy, and hatch exclusive seasonal pets. The catch is that Candy spoils if you don't reach the drop-off point in time, so knowing where to farm and how to move fast makes a real difference.
How does Candy work in Ride a Pet?
Every piece of Candy you pick up starts a countdown timer. Deliver it to the Candy Drop-Off point before that timer hits zero, and you receive Halloween Tokens. Let the timer expire and the Candy spoils, giving you nothing. Higher-rarity Candy spoils faster but pays out more Tokens when you successfully deliver it, so the risk-reward tradeoff is real.
Those Halloween Tokens are the only currency accepted by Shop Guy in the Halloween Zone, where Halloween Eggs are sold. Hatching those eggs is the only way to unlock the limited Halloween pets, so Candy farming is the core loop of the entire event.
From the main spawn area, head behind the Gears Shop. The entrance to the Halloween Zone is right there. Once inside, the entire area is dedicated to the event, with Candy spawning across the map, houses for Trick or Treating, and pumpkins toward the far end.
tip
Memorize the path from your main farming spot back to the Candy Drop-Off before you start grabbing high-rarity Candy. Wasting time figuring out the route while a timer ticks down is a fast way to lose your best haul.

What are all the ways to get Candy in Ride a Pet?
There are exactly three methods, and each one has a different efficiency profile depending on what you're optimizing for.
1. Pick up Candy from the ground
This is the most straightforward approach. Candy spawns directly on the ground throughout the Halloween Zone, and you just walk over it to collect it. Different rarity tiers appear across the map, so you're not locked into low-value drops. The main advantage here is volume: you can sweep the zone repeatedly without waiting on any cooldown.
Once you've collected what you can carry, head straight to the Candy Drop-Off point to cash in your Tokens.

2. Trick or Treat at the houses
From the Candy Drop-Off area, turn left and you'll find a row of houses. Walk up to any door and interact with it to trigger Trick or Treat. Each door either gives you Candy (random amount and rarity) or nothing at all. There's a short cooldown per door after each attempt, so you can't spam a single house.
The randomness makes this less reliable than ground farming, but the rarity of drops can skew higher, and cycling through multiple houses keeps the cooldowns from slowing you down too much.

3. Search Spoiled Pumpkins
This is the fastest method for farming Halloween Tokens. Head toward the far end of the Halloween Zone where a cluster of pumpkins sits. Some of those pumpkins are Spoiled Pumpkins, and interacting with them yields large quantities of high-rarity Candy in a single pull.
The tradeoff is that high-rarity Candy activates one of several curses the moment you pick it up. These curses include effects like limited vision or reversed controls. They're disorienting but manageable: keep your eye on the House icon displayed on your screen and follow it back to the Candy Drop-Off. As long as you don't panic, you'll deliver in time.
warning
Don't pick up high-rarity Candy from Spoiled Pumpkins unless you already know the route back to the drop-off. Curses activate immediately and some of them make navigation genuinely difficult.
How to maximize your Halloween Token farming
After testing all three methods across multiple runs, the most efficient setup is to start each session by clearing the Spoiled Pumpkins at the far end of the zone for the big high-rarity haul, then sweep the ground spawns on the way back to the drop-off. Use the house doors as filler when pumpkin and ground spawns are on cooldown or haven't refreshed yet.

What can you buy with Halloween Tokens?
Halloween Eggs are the primary purchase from Shop Guy in the Halloween Zone. These eggs contain exclusive seasonal pets not available outside the event. The exact pets available depend on the current event rotation, so hatch early and often rather than saving Tokens for later in the event window.
