Survive Zombie Arena added a full Artifacts system with the Bloodmoon Update, and it changes how every run feels. Equip the right three Artifacts and you're pulling in bonus credits, slowing zombie hordes, and stacking damage buffs that carry you through waves you'd normally struggle to survive. Pick the wrong ones and you're wasting slots on passives that barely register. This guide covers every Artifact currently in the game, how to get them, and which ones are worth keeping.
How do you get Artifacts in Survive Zombie Arena?
Artifacts come from Artifact Crates, which you open in the Lobby. Head toward the Upgrades shop and look for the Artifact area directly behind it. There's a floating Artifact Crate you can interact with to pull up the gacha menu.
From there, you can spend Credits or Robux to open 1 or 5 crates at once. There's also a Gift button if you want to send crates to other players. The crates pull from five rarity tiers, each with different drop rates.

Artifact slots in loadout menu
How do you equip Artifacts in Survive Zombie Arena?
Open your Loadout menu and click the Artifacts tab. Every Artifact you own appears here. Click one to slot it into your build.
You start with one free Artifact slot. The other two cost Credits to unlock. Once all three slots are open, you can run any combination of three Artifacts at the same time.
What is the best Artifact in Survive Zombie Arena?
The Gaming Controller is the strongest Artifact in the game right now. A single item giving you 15% Damage, 10% HP, 10% Movement Speed, and 10% Critical Hit covers almost every stat you care about. The movement speed bonus alone saves runs when zombies start overwhelming your position.
That said, the best three-Artifact combo depends entirely on what you're trying to do:
For credit farming: Run Bank and Recycler together. Bank stacks a 10% bonus on every credit you earn during a run, while Recycler fires a 20% chance for extra credits on each kill. These two together make a noticeable difference on longer runs, but remember that Bank pays out nothing if you quit early.
For raw damage: Stack Red Toolbox, Attack Orb, and Energy Drink. Red Toolbox alone adds 25% Damage and 25% Max Health alongside gear healing, and the other two push your fire rate and base damage further.
For solo play: Summon Artifacts like Special Drone, Sword, and Iron Dagger give you passive damage sources that don't require you to aim. The Drone is the strongest of the three at 15 damage per bolt, but even the Sword's 30 damage every 4 seconds adds up across a long wave.
For event currency (Bloodmoon Shards): Slot Lucky Coin to double your event currency drops 20% of the time.
