Where Winds Meet: All Goldflow Slope Anecdote Locations

Goldflow Slope packs 20 Oddities across 18 map stops, and if you go in without a plan, the mountainous terrain will eat your time fast. Each Oddity drops a Jade Fish tied to one of five character stats: Elegance, Eradication, Resolve, Mindset, or Constitution. The count reaches 20 despite only 18 map markers because the 36% waterfall stop hands over three fish in a single glide pass. Work through the stops in map order and you clear everything in one uninterrupted run through Where Winds Meet.

What are Goldflow Slope Oddities and why collect them?

Oddities are one-time collectibles tied to specific map positions. Each one spawns a Jade Fish on collection, and that fish permanently raises one of your five character stats. They do not respawn once grabbed, so your on-screen exploration counter is the cleanest way to track progress. When it reads 20/20 for Goldflow Slope, the region is done.

The five stat rewards are not distributed evenly. Elegance appears most often across the 20 fish, with Constitution and Eradication making up the next largest share. Resolve and Mindset show up less frequently, so players chasing those specific stats should prioritize the stops listed below.

The table below lists every stop in map order, from the 4% opening area to the 93% far pocket. The collection method column tells you exactly what action triggers the Jade Fish to appear.

Loading table...

Oddities 1 to 9

The opening cluster runs from 4% through 36% and mixes ground-level pickups with vertical traversal. Oddity 1 at 4% is a direct cliff scramble with no tricks involved. Oddity 2 at 18% is easy to miss because it looks like a large melon sitting in a flower field at ground level, so resist the instinct to scan upward.

Oddity 3 at 21% sits on a cliffside ledge. Line up the map marker, then approach the wall directly below it and climb straight up. The 30% area pairs two Oddities close together: grab Oddity 4 from the flower patch first, then use the high ground to glide over to the cliff ledge for Oddity 5.

Oddity 6 at 32% sits in a misty lake. Swim out to it and collect. Then head to the 36% waterfall for Oddities 7 through 9, the only stop in the entire region that pays out three Jade Fish at once. Glide around the falls and collect all three before moving on.

tip
The 36% waterfall stop is why 18 map markers cover 20 Oddities. Oddities 7, 8, and 9 share a single coordinate, so the map shows one pin for three rewards.

Oddities 10 to 14

Oddity 10 at 41% is the most involved stop in this stretch. Ride the zipline, climb the cliff at the far end, then shoot the hanging target with your bow. The Jade Fish will not appear until the shot lands, so do not skip the archery step.

The two stops at 48% share the same area but ask for opposite actions. Oddity 11 is high in a tree on a grassy hill, so climb for it. Oddity 12 is a melon tucked under a rock at ground level. Check both heights before leaving the area.

The map percentage then loops back to 32% for Oddities 13 and 14. These are in a different part of the 32% zone than Oddity 6. Oddity 13 is a melon beside a camp, and Oddity 14 requires a careful tree climb on a steep grassy slope.

warning
Bow-target Oddities (10, 17, and 19) will not spawn their fish until you land the shot. Standard arrows work fine for all three. Do not move on assuming the item will appear on its own.

Oddities 15 to 20

Oddity 15 at 65% is a vine-covered cliff climb. Follow the vines upward to the ledge where the fish waits. At 69%, two stops cluster near Halfpeak Bluff. Oddity 16 is a melon inside a forest camp, while Oddity 17 is an archery challenge requiring a bow shot on a hanging target.

The final three all read 93% on the map. Oddity 18 needs a glide down to a rocky outcrop, so approach from above rather than trying to climb up. Oddity 19 is another hanging-target puzzle near a waterfall, and Oddity 20 is positioned high in a tall tree beside a camp.

How are Oddities collected?

Goldflow Slope reuses five core collection patterns. Recognizing them on sight cuts down the time spent figuring out what to do at each stop.

Climbing and gliding handle the majority of stops. The bow-target Oddities (10, 17, and 19) are the only ones with a hard prerequisite action before the reward appears.

Do I need to collect Oddities in order?

No. The 20 Oddities can be grabbed in any sequence. The map-order approach from 4% to 93% is simply the most efficient route because it avoids backtracking across the mountainous terrain. If you already have some collected, use the exploration counter in the region menu to check your remaining total, then cross-reference the table above to identify which stops are still open.

For players also working on full regional exploration, pairing this run with the Jade Gate Pass Boundary Stone locations guide helps you knock out multiple collectible types in connected areas without doubling back.

What stats do you actually get?

Elegance is the most common reward in Goldflow Slope, appearing on 9 of the 20 fish. Constitution and Eradication each cover 4 fish, while Resolve appears twice and Mindset appears twice. If you are specifically targeting Resolve or Mindset gains, prioritize Oddities 5 and 18 for Resolve, and Oddities 6, 7, and 9 for Mindset.

tip
Each Oddity spawns only once. If a marker still appears on your map after you have visited a spot, the item at that location is either behind a climb, glide, swim, or bow-target action that has not been completed yet.

For players pushing toward full completion, the Jiuquan Anecdote locations guide covers a similar collectible structure in a different region and is worth running alongside Goldflow Slope if you are grinding exploration percentages.
