The Skelicorn is a Legendary winged skeleton unicorn added to Adopt Me! during Week 2 of the Halloween 2026 event on October 9, 2026. You cannot buy it from a shop directly. It sits as a pile of bones in a locked cage near the Manor, and you have to revive it yourself before the purchase option even appears. Here's the short answer: find the Lightning Lever deep in the Crypt, install it in the generator beside the cage, and then spend 120,000 Candy Corn to claim the pet.

What do you need before starting?

Two things gate the Skelicorn: Crypt Keys to work through the Crypt and find the Lightning Lever, and enough Candy Corn to buy the pet once it's revived. The good news is you can farm both at the same time.

  • Crypt Keys: Daily event tasks award 4 per day. Each Ghost Gallery boss victory gives 1 additional key.
  • Candy Corn: Each completed pet need pays 200 Candy Corn. A full Ghost Gallery round pays up to 5,000. The Hauntlet 2 event is the fastest source, with a full clear yielding around 21,000 Candy Corn per run.
  • Candy Corn needed: 120,000 for one regular Skelicorn, 480,000 for a Neon (4 copies), and 1,920,000 for a Mega Neon (16 copies).

Where is the Skelicorn cage?

The caged Skelicorn stands near the Manor, in the same area as the Crypt entrance. Use the directional signpost in the Halloween event world and select "Crypt" to fast travel close to it. Walk past the Manor and you'll spot skeleton bones hanging in a cage with a broken electrical panel right beside it.

Interacting with the panel before you have the lever shows the prompt "Install Lightning Lever" and tells you something is missing. That missing part is waiting inside the Crypt.

How to find the Lightning Lever in the Crypt

The Crypt has multiple descending floors. The Lightning Lever is a reward hidden in one of the sarcophagi on Lower Level IV, and you need to open your way down through each floor to reach it.

Step 1: Enter the Crypt

Find the Crypt entrance near the Manor. Inside, rows of sarcophagi each cost one Crypt Key to open. Most reward 1,000 to 3,000 Candy Corn or a Crypt Twig. One coffin on each floor hides a staircase down.

Step 2: Descend through the levels

When you open the right sarcophagus, you'll see the message "There's a way down..." Follow it through Lower Level II, then Lower Level III, and finally down to Lower Level IV. Each floor costs keys, so arrive with a solid stack before you start.

Step 3: Find the Lightning Lever on Lower Level IV

The rewards board on Lower Level IV shows the Lightning Lever icon. Open sarcophagi here until you get the message "You found Lightning Lever!" The exact coffin varies every run, so there is no fixed sarcophagus to target. Keep opening until it drops.

Step 4: Install the lever and revive the Skelicorn

Exit the Crypt and return to the generator beside the cage near the Manor. Click the panel and choose "Install Lightning Lever," then pull the switch. A cutscene plays where lightning strikes the cage and reassembles the bones into a living Skelicorn, with the on-screen text "IT'S ALIVE!" After the revival, interact with the cage and the prompt "Buy Skelicorn / 120000 Candy Corn" appears. Confirm to add it to your inventory.

You'll know it worked when the "New Pet Discovered! SKELICORN" screen appears.

What if the Lightning Lever isn't showing up?

Players who started a Crypt run before the October 9 update report that the lever does not appear in their available rewards. The fix is to finish that existing run by reaching and claiming the Mummy Spider, which resets the Crypt. Start a fresh run after the reset and the Lightning Lever should appear on Lower Level IV.

Do you need the Pro Ghost Blaster?

No. The Pro Ghost Blaster costs 29 Robux and makes the Ghost Gallery minigame easier, but the standard Ghost Blaster is enough to beat the boss and earn Crypt Keys. The Robux item is entirely optional and has no effect on unlocking the Skelicorn.

Skelicorn value and trading: is it worth it?

As of October 10, 2026, a regular Skelicorn trades for approximately 1.8 Ride Potions (RP) in the community. A Neon sits around 7 to 8 RP, and a Mega Neon lands near 29 to 34 RP. These are community-driven estimates, not official figures, and they can shift quickly while the event runs.

VariantTrading ValueDemandNotes
Regular~1.8 RPMediumGood as a trade add
Neon7 to 8 RPMediumBreaks even vs. 4 regulars
Mega Neon29 to 34 RPHighBest long-term hold
Fly Ride~1.8 RPMediumPotions add almost nothing

The price stays low because the Skelicorn is not a one-time reward. After the first revival, you can keep adopting additional copies for 120,000 Candy Corn each. Supply grows every day the event runs, which keeps regular copies cheap even though it's a Legendary.

For context, the Skele-Rex from Halloween 2020 still trades only slightly above the Skelicorn's release-day price six years later. Candy Corn Legendaries hold value differently than Robux pets. The Candicorn from the Sugar Festival 2026 sits at roughly 11 RP for a regular copy because it required Robux, not farmed currency.

Should you make a Neon Skelicorn?

The math works out roughly to breaking even. Four regular Skelicorns at 1.8 RP each total about 7.2 RP, and a Neon trades for 7 to 8 RP. You're not printing profit, but you are pulling four copies out of supply and creating a more liquid single asset.

A Mega Neon requires 16 copies and nearly 1.92 million Candy Corn. That's a serious grind, but Mega Neons have the highest demand tier and become significantly harder to build after October 31.

To fuse a Neon, age four Skelicorns to Full Grown, then travel to the Neon Cave and place all four on the fusion pads with NPC Nixie. The Neon Skelicorn's mane, horns, wings, and paws glow with a fiery gradient shifting from orange to red.

Skip applying Fly and Ride Potions before fusing. A Fly Ride Skelicorn lists at essentially the same value as a plain one, meaning the potions are worth more on their own.

Frequently asked questions

Where exactly is the Lightning Lever? It's a random sarcophagus reward on Lower Level IV of the Crypt. There's no fixed coffin. Open them all on that floor until it drops.

Can you get more than one Skelicorn? Yes. After the first revival, you can keep adopting additional copies for 120,000 Candy Corn each while the event runs. You only need to find the Lightning Lever once per account to unlock the purchase.

What happens to the Lightning Lever after the event? It disappears from your inventory when the Halloween event ends on October 31, 2026. It cannot be traded at any point.

Is the Skelicorn worth trading for right now? At around 1.8 RP, it works well as a trade add. Any offer above 2 RP for a single regular copy is a solid deal while the event is still running.
