All weapon locations in Beast of Reincarnation

The Cirrus Sword is one of the earliest swords you can pick up in Beast of Reincarnation, and it comes with a team-buffing passive that stays relevant well past the opening hours. If you know where to look in Chapter 1, you won't miss it. Here's everything you need to know about this weapon, from where to find it to how its ability scales at max upgrade.

Where do you get the Cirrus Sword?

The Retired Gatekeeper hands you the Cirrus Sword during a scripted encounter in Chapter 1. You'll run into this NPC automatically while following Rangifer toward the Sealed Lair. The sword is offered near the Nushi's Lair: Gate Approach campsite, so you can't really miss it as long as you're progressing the main story.

There's no side quest, no hidden chest, and no Amber cost involved. Just reach that point in Chapter 1 and the sword is yours.

Cirrus Sword base stats

At base level, the Cirrus Sword sits at 27 Melee Attack with an Impact element. That's a solid foundation for a Chapter 1 weapon, and the passive ability is what makes it genuinely interesting.

What does the Clear Skies ability do?

Clear Skies is the Cirrus Sword's passive. When triggered, it boosts both Emma's damage and Koo's damage simultaneously. The effect scales across four tiers as you upgrade the weapon.

The jump from Clear Skies + to Clear Skies ++ is the one worth prioritizing. The multiplier increase from ×1.03 to ×1.05 is modest on paper, but the duration tripling from 5 seconds to 15 seconds is the real upgrade. At max tier (Clear Skies +++), you're looking at a ×1.07 multiplier on both characters for a full 15 seconds per proc.

tip
The Clear Skies buff applies to both Emma and Koo at the same time, making this sword particularly useful for builds that rely on Koo dealing consistent damage alongside Emma rather than just acting as support.

Is the Cirrus Sword worth keeping?

For early Chapter 1 play, the Cirrus Sword punches above its weight. The 27 Melee Attack is competitive for that stage of the game, and the Clear Skies passive gives you a damage boost that affects two characters rather than just one.

Whether it stays in your loadout into later chapters depends on what you find or craft. The sword list in Beast of Reincarnation includes options like the Purifier, Big Dipper, Thunderwave Sword, Sunrise Sword, and others that may outclass it in raw attack or offer more specialized passives. That said, if you're running a build that benefits from coordinated Emma and Koo damage windows, the fully upgraded Cirrus Sword at ×1.07 for 15 seconds is a legitimate option to keep around.

warning
Don't invest heavy upgrade resources into the Cirrus Sword before checking whether your current build actually benefits from the Clear Skies proc. If you're not actively timing Koo attacks within the buff window, you're leaving half the passive's value unused.

For players still working through the early game, it's also worth knowing how to keep your resources flowing. The guide on how to level up your Cleanse Walker fast covers exactly what materials you need to push upgrades forward without grinding in circles.
