Crimson Desert Best Rings You Should Get

Rings in Crimson Desert are easy to overlook when you're focused on weapons and armor, but equipping the right ones makes a real difference in how combat feels. The Tigerfang Ring alone gives +7 Attack when fully refined, and the Mark of Darkness hands you +4 Attack Speed, which matters enormously for dual-wield builds. Here's where to find each one and exactly what you're getting for the effort.

What do rings actually do in Crimson Desert?

Rings sit in the accessory slot and provide passive stat bonuses that stay active throughout combat. Unlike weapons, you're not swapping them mid-fight, so choosing the right ring for your playstyle before heading into a tough encounter pays off. The four strongest rings currently documented in the game cover attack speed, raw attack power, stamina recovery, and a conditional lightning ability, giving you flexibility depending on how you build Kliff.

According to TheGamer's guide, all rings can be refined to reach their full stat potential, so picking them up early and starting the refinement process is worth doing as soon as you have access.

How to get the Tigerfang Ring

The Tigerfang Ring is the strongest raw damage ring in the game at +7 Attack when fully refined, but getting it takes some setup. Before the White Tiger spawns, you need to fully liberate Serpenthead Valley from the Wolf Tracker faction. This location sits far east of Demeniss, deep in the jungle past the Drywind Valley.

Kill every Wolf Tracker enemy in the area until their forces drop to zero percent. Once the last of them flee, the White Tiger will appear south of the valley near a small pond by a cliff, surrounded by several regular tigers.

The White Tiger itself is fast and punishes passive play with rapid claw slashes. According to TheGamer, it's susceptible to stun-locking if you have Abyss Gear like Crow's Pursuit, Fullmoon Slash, or Wound of Darkness. Turning Slash and Volcanic Eruption also deal significant damage to it. Defeat it, then skin the corpse to receive the Tigerfang Ring along with crafting materials.

How to get the Mark of Darkness Ring

Head to Windmere Manor in northern Demeniss, west of the Kingshield Mountains. Enter through the main door, turn left, go up the stairs, and take the second door on your left. If you haven't reached Chapter 8 in the main story, the guards will be hostile, so you'll need to enter through a back window instead.

Inside the office, find the strongbox in the back left corner. The puzzle here is one of the easier ones in the game: rotate the tiles until they form a complete picture of a whale. Once the image is complete, the strongbox opens. Equip your mask and steal the small box to claim the Mark of Darkness Ring.

At +4 Attack Speed when fully refined, this ring is a top-tier pick for anyone running dual-wield weapons, and according to TheGamer, that stat is higher than almost any other ring in the game.

How to get the Witch's Ring

The Witch's Ring matches the Mark of Darkness at +4 Attack Speed when refined, but there's no shortcut to getting it. It's locked behind the Thinning Blade quest in Chapter 9, making it a mid-to-late game reward.

To complete the quest, move two sets of mirrors at the base of the Spire of Sun to unlock the tower. Climb to the top until you reach an Abyss Gate, which transports you to an Abyss island called the Nest of Valor. There, you'll face Goyen, a boss who mirrors many of Kliff's own abilities. Defeating Goyen completes the Thinning Blade quest and awards the Witch's Ring.

How to get the Ring of Lightning

Travel north of Hernand into Pailune, then head west of the Silver Wolf Mountains to reach Whisperleaf Fortress. Use Nature's Grasp to lift the large gate at the entrance and go inside. Move to the southwest corner of the fortress on the ground level.

Behind a tent, you'll find a lone stone grave. Hit it with a Force Palm strike to lift it and reveal a trapdoor leading down to a small crypt. Climb the ladder and interact with the strongbox at the bottom.

For this puzzle, you need to press the rune buttons in a specific order to light them all up simultaneously. According to TheGamer, the correct sequence is:

  • Third column, middle button
  • First column, top button
  • Second column, bottom button

Hitting those three in order unlocks the strongbox and gives you the Ring of Lightning. Equipped, it provides +4 Attack and grants the Charge Lightning ability. This ability activates after you've been in rain for 2 minutes, letting you call down a large lightning bolt that deals substantial electrical damage. It's particularly effective against lightning-weak enemies or when you're fighting groups in wet weather.

How to get the White Horn Ring

The White Horn Ring is available from Chapter 7 onward. Travel to the Eternal Corridor, a dungeon filled with mechanical enemies. Inside, you'll find the Clockwork White Horn, an elite boss with heavy attacks and mechanical charge patterns.

The fight rewards a dodge-focused approach rather than blocking, since stamina efficiency matters here. Defeat the boss to receive the ring. Its primary benefit is consistent stamina regeneration, which reduces downtime between dodges and attacks in prolonged fights. According to nerdschalk, this ring is especially useful for melee-focused builds where stamina management is a constant pressure.

Which rings should you combine?

The two most practical early pairings depend on your playstyle. For melee builds that rely on sustained pressure, combining the White Horn Ring with the Ring of Lightning gives you stamina recovery for mobility alongside AoE crowd control for group encounters.

For aggressive or dual-wield players, running the Mark of Darkness alongside the Tigerfang Ring stacks +4 Attack Speed with +7 Attack, making it one of the strongest offensive setups in the game once both are fully refined.
