Disconnected Truth Puzzle Guide

The Disconnected Truth is one of the more demanding Abyss puzzles in Crimson Desert, and it earns that reputation. You are working across multiple floors, reconnecting severed conduits, retrieving floating batteries with Axiom Force, and flipping three nodes from orange to blue before the central cog will budge. Miss a single step and the whole thing stalls. This guide walks you through every phase in order so you can clear it cleanly and collect your Abyss Artifact without losing your mind.

Where is the Disconnected Truth puzzle?

The Disconnected Truth sits in the Abyss, the sky region of Crimson Desert. According to DualShockers, the fastest way to reach it is by completing the Forgotten Altar puzzle first and then using the teleporter there. The puzzle is positioned late in the game because it sits on one of the paths leading toward the final boss, but Crimson Desert's open structure means you can technically reach it earlier if you explore aggressively.

The structure itself is a large floating diamond-shaped island. When you arrive at the smaller platform across from it, activate the Abyss Gate and look below for a fan pointing toward the main island. Glide over the fan to launch yourself into the small opening at the base of the structure.

How do you activate the elevator?

Once inside the first chamber, look slightly to the right of the central podium. There is a disconnected wire lying on the ground. Approach the yellow conduit in the cable and press your interact button to restore power. Step onto the podium and it will carry you up to the main puzzle floor. Wait a few seconds in the elevator and the prism will unlock, letting you exit.

This is the step most players skip past too quickly. The conduit is easy to miss if you walk straight to the podium, so scan the ground to the right first.

The core objective, confirmed across all sources, is to activate three center nodes and switch them from orange to blue. Only the right node has power when you arrive. Here is the full sequence.

Step 1: Activate the right node

Look west of the main room. You will see three switches. The right one is already yellow and lit. Use Axiom Force on it to establish power to that cable.

Step 2: Power the center node

Follow the center node's wire. It leads you to a hole in the floor on the south side of the room. Drop down into the underground section.

Continue following the wire through the underground corridor. After the first turn right, you will spot a disconnected conduit a few feet into the connected hall. Interact with it to reroute power. Keep following the cables, climb out of the underground section, and head up the stairs.

At the top, look at the large inverted triangle structure. On its right side, there is a glowing blue Abyss Core floating in the air. Use the nearby platform to get close, double-jump (press R3 in the air), glide toward it, and use Axiom Force mid-air to snatch it. Bring it back to the large column with a wheel on either side. Place the Abyss Core in front of the slot and use Force Palm to push it into place. This restores power to the center switch, which you then activate with Axiom Force.

Step 3: Power the left node

From the three switches, look left. Just outside the alcove, there is a conduit on the floor you can interact with to reconnect both sides of the cable. Once that is done, look into the alcove and use Axiom Force to pull the square Abyss Core off the column wall. This is the battery embedded in the wall on the ground floor, as DualShockers describes it. Use Axiom Force, press pull, and wiggle to pop it free.

Move this core up through the gap in the alcove roof and climb up after it. Directly above where you retrieved it, you will find another large machine with a slot on its right side, marked by a spotlight. Use Force Palm to push the core into place. There is one more disconnected conduit directly in front of this machine that you need to fix before the left node receives power.

Return to the three switches and use Axiom Force on the left node to activate it.

Step 4: Activate the central cog

With all three nodes lit blue, a circular platform above them activates. Climb up to it and hit it with Force Palm to complete the puzzle. This unlocks platforms on the central floating prism, letting you navigate to the top. The Abyss Artifact spawns at the altar at the top of the inverted triangle. Grab it before you leave.

What do you get for solving Disconnected Truth?

The primary reward is an Abyss Artifact, which functions as the game's skill point currency. These artifacts feed directly into character progression: upgrading weapons, unlocking new skills, and increasing Kliff's stats. TheGamer adds that the puzzle room also contains the hidden Insight Level 3 Abyss Gear in the underground side room, making a full clear worth significantly more than just the main reward.

What comes after Disconnected Truth?

According to GameRant's walkthrough, after activating the final cog you can reach an Abyss Gate on the west side of the top of the prism. From there, cross the platforms to the left, equip your Lantern, and examine the crumbled elevator platform. Equip the Visione and press Options to activate a memory from the past, which spawns floating platforms you can use while the Visione is equipped. Navigate across to find a teleporter pad that sends you into the Denn River puzzle box, the next Abyss challenge in the sequence.
