Bruna's Request looks like a quick errand on paper in Crimson Desert. Bruna made a horse tack set, wants to know if the customer liked it, and needs you to track them down. Simple enough. The problem is that the customer keeps moving, the guards at Lioncrest Manor will not let you through the front door, and the NPC at the Royal Trading Post has a habit of disappearing entirely. This guide covers every step, every location, and the exact method for getting inside Lioncrest Manor without a formal invitation.
Quest overview and rewards
Bruna's Request is a Faction Quest under the Hernand Commissions category. Before you can pick it up, check the Hernand Notice Board. If the flyer is not there yet, you may need to finish other Hernand Commissions or push the main story forward a bit.
info
If Bruna's Request is missing from the Notice Board, try completing one or two other Hernand Commissions first or advancing the main story. The quest unlocks progressively.
How to find Bruna at the Equinsher Saddlery
According to the IGN wiki, Bruna is located southeast of the town of Hernand at the Equinsher Saddlery, just before Anvil Hill. The saddlery is easy to walk past because it is only a small cluster of shacks surrounding a large horse statue. Bruna sits at a table near the center of that cluster.
Focus on her to open a conversation and select Listen to Her Request. She hands you a note explaining that the customer she delivered the tack to works at the Hernand Stables. Open your inventory and read the note to trigger the next objective.

How to follow the trail to the tack buyer
The quest sends you on a three-stop chain before you actually find the person you are looking for. Here is the full sequence, synthesized from all three sources.
Stop 1: Hernand Stables
Head north of Hernand along the road from the northwest side of town. The stables are easy to find once you are on the road. Inside the stable area, watch your minimap for a small purple icon indicating an interactable object. Per TheGamer's walkthrough, the note is on the right side of the stable entrance near a barrel by a wooden fence. It is called the Tack Keeper's Note. Reading it reveals the customer has moved on to the Royal Trading Post.
Stop 2: Royal Trading Post
The Royal Trading Post sits just above Hernand, before the first gate leading toward Hernand Castle. Look for the canvas tents and market stalls to identify it on the map. Once inside, find the Noble wearing a red beret near one of the stalls on the right side. Talk to him to receive the Royal Trade Post Note, which points you to Lioncrest Manor.
warning
According to TheGamer, this NPC sometimes fails to appear at the Royal Trading Post. If the Noble with the red hat is missing, leave the area and return, or reload your save. You may also need to look away from the NPC with your camera after initiating the conversation to trigger the note handoff. This interaction is known to be buggy.
The note describes the person you are looking for as a dwarf wearing a pink headscarf with a hammer on their belt, which helps you identify them once you get inside Lioncrest Manor.
Stop 3: Lioncrest Manor (the tricky part)
Lioncrest Manor is northwest of Hernand. Getting inside is the part that stops most players cold, and both PCGamer and the IGN wiki confirm the same approach.

The window entry route
How to enter Lioncrest Manor
The guards at every door will refuse entry, so the front entrance and any guarded doorway are dead ends. The solution is to go around the back of the building.
- Head around to the back of Lioncrest Manor.
- Look for a small shuttered window on the wall. PCGamer places it just to the right of the backdoor; TheGamer notes it is on the left side of the main entrance wall. Both sources agree it is a climbable window on the exterior.
- Climb up to the window and interact with it to open it.
- Drop inside.
If the walls are giving you trouble with the climbing detection, try getting onto the roof from a nearby building or a section of mountain terrain first, then cling to the back of the building and work your way down to the window. The wall geometry can be uncooperative.
Once inside, head toward the entrance hall. You are looking for a dwarf with a pink headscarf and a hammer on their belt among the NPCs near the front door. Speak with them to get the feedback: Bruna's tack is described as tough yet flexible, and the dwarf considers it quality craftsmanship.

Final handoff location
Where to find Bruna's assistant at the Nas River Fishing Dock
After speaking with the dwarf, the quest does not send you back to Bruna directly. Instead, the objective updates to find Bruna's Assistant at the Nas River Fishing Dock. This location is far southeast of Hernand, south of Anvil Hill, and not too far southeast of the Equinsher Saddlery where you started.
Bruna's assistant stands just outside the dock area. Speak with her to hand over the feedback and complete the quest, collecting your Medium Bag, 3 Iron Ore, 50 Trust with Bruna, and 30 Hernandian Contribution.
