The Kuku Disruptor Spear is the best weapon in Crimson Desert for fighting Clockwork and robot enemies, and getting it requires navigating one of the most chaotic battlefields in the game. The path to owning the permanent crafted version involves two separate steps: picking up the physical spear from an active warzone, then completing a faction quest to unlock the blueprint. Here is everything you need to know to get both.

Where is the Kuku Disruptor Spear?

The spear is located in the Delesyia region in the southeast. Head north of Gorthak and directly west of the Gunlore Outpost. At that marked position, go up the hill and look for a tent stocked with supplies and weapons. The Kuku Disruptor Spear sits on a stand in the center of that tent.

If you have already progressed far enough in the main campaign to liberate this location, you can walk straight up and grab it. If not, you are heading into a literal warzone.

How do you survive the Clockwork battlefield?

Before the zone is liberated, the area swarms with Clockwork Dragonflies, Ants, Mantis, and Beetles fighting soldiers of Demeniss. The sheer volume of enemies means the game will not let you interact with the spear until it registers you as out of combat, so you need to clear the immediate area first.

Prioritize the Clockwork Dragonflies first. They travel in large swarms and fire laser beams, but they have low health. Arrows or any Abyss Gear that fires projectiles will clear them quickly. Avoid engaging the Clockwork Mantis unless your gear can handle it.

Once the area around the tent is clear enough, interact with the spear on the stand to pick it up.

How do you unlock the Kuku Disruptor Spear blueprint?

The physical spear you grab from the tent has limited durability. The blueprint lets you craft a permanent version with unlimited durability that can also be refined. Getting it requires a few extra steps.

Step 1: Liberate the Gorthak battlefield

Make the warzone near Gorthak safe by completing the relevant main story content. Once the area is clear, travel to the Gunlore Outpost and speak to Marke. This triggers the faction quest The Pinnacle of Technical Skill, and completing it rewards you with the Kuku Disruptor Spear Blueprint.

Step 2: Clear the Sanctum of Absolution

You also need the Enhanced Kuku Pot Blueprint, which is obtained by clearing the Sanctum of Absolution in southern Hernand and eliminating all the cultists inside.

What does the Kuku Disruptor Spear actually do?

The effect can be charged up to 10 times, with each charge carrying a 2-second cooldown. You equip it from the secondary weapon tab using the Quick Slot.
