With a new season of Fortnite comes new additions to the game's overarching story. To help catch players up, Fortnite has included a story quest to find audio logs, which players can use to get caught up on what's happening and earn some free experience for the Battle Pass. These logs can be a bit tricky to find, so here is where to find each one.
Latte Landing Audio Log
The first audio log can be found just south of the Latte Landing POI, on a mountain right next to one of the new Override Consoles.

The audio log is located inside a cave on the east side of the mountain. Head into the cave and look on the right side, past the no parking sign. Interact with the audio log to progress the quest.

Reality Reign Audio Log
The second log can be found northwest of the Reality Reign POI, once again on a mountain.

Unlike the Latte Landing location, there is no cave here. This log sits on top of the mountain, right next to a tree.

Green Hill Zone Audio Log
The final story audio log is found within Green Hill Zone itself , Sonic's home POI , rather than near a surrounding landmark.

This last log is located on top of a waterfall in the southeast part of the POI, near a ledge at the back of the waterfall, next to a totem pole and some rocks.

Tips and Tricks
Searching for individual quest items can be difficult in Fortnite due to the threat of other players. The following tips will help you find the logs and complete the quest efficiently.
- Land directly on one of the log locations after jumping from the Battle Bus to guarantee at least one is collected per match.
- Look for the white exclamation marks that hover above quest items to spot logs more easily.
- Ping the location of a log on the map before jumping from the Battle Bus so you have a clear heading.
