With the first week of Fortnite Override finished, Epic Games has added new weekly quests that reward XP for completion. One of these quests asks players to consume an item on the Pinky, Blinky, or Pac-Man Islands. It is not especially difficult to complete, but players unfamiliar with Pac-Man characters may not know where to look. This guide covers where to find each island, how to complete the quest, and how to make the most of what these locations offer.
Where Are the Pinky, Blinky, and Pac-Man Islands?
The Fortnite Override map features three new islands, each shaped like a classic Pac-Man character. All three sit on the edges of the map , two along the southern edge and one in the north.
Pinky Island
On the southeast part of the map, players will find a small island shaped like the pink ghost from the Pac-Man games. This is Pinky Island, named after that iconic pink ghost.
Blinky Island
To the west of Pinky Island, on the southwestern edge of the map, is another ghost-shaped island , this one red. This is Blinky Island, named after the red ghost from the Pac-Man games.
Pac-Man Island
In the center of the northern part of the map sits the most recognizable of the three islands. This is Pac-Man Island, named after the pizza-shaped arcade game character himself.
How to Consume an Item on the Islands
The weekly quest requires players to consume an item while standing on one of the three islands. This simply means using any healing item that restores health or shield , anything from a Bandage to a Chug Jug will count toward completing the quest.
Tips and Tricks for Completing the Quest
Because these islands offer legendary chests, other players will be drawn to them early in the match. Keep the following tips in mind to land safely and complete the quest without trouble:
- Land on an island farther from the Battle Bus path to reduce early competition.
- Loot the legendary chests on the islands , they can drop Chug Jugs, which can be used directly to complete the quest.
- Play in Zero Build mode. In this mode, players start with a Mini Shield already in their inventory, which can be used immediately upon landing to finish the quest.
