Planning your Stellar Jade spending in Honkai: Star Rail is half the battle. Banners rotate every three weeks, and missing a character you want can mean waiting months for a rerun. Whether you're saving for the new 5-Star Ashveil in version 4.1 or eyeing the mysterious Silver Wolf Lv. 999 on the horizon in 4.2, this guide breaks down every active, upcoming, and permanent banner so you can make informed decisions before spending a single pass.
What Are the Current Honkai Star Rail Banners?
The current banners in Honkai: Star Rail are running during version 4.0 Phase 2, and they end on March 24, 2026. Two limited event banners are live right now.
Sparxie (Fire, The Elation) headlines the Project: Party Time banner as a brand-new 5-Star character. Alongside her, the Indelible Coterie rerun banner features three returning 5-Stars: Cerydra (Wind, Harmony), Rappa (Imaginary, Erudition), and Sparkle (Quantum, Harmony).
The boosted 4-Star characters across both banners are:
- Pela (Ice, Nihility)
- Hanya (Physical, Harmony)
- Qingque (Quantum, Erudition)
On the weapon side, the Brilliant Fixation banner features Sparxie's signature 5-Star Light Cone Dazzled by a Flowery World (Elation), while the Coalesced Truths banner holds the signature Light Cones for Cerydra, Rappa, and Sparkle: Epoch Etched in Golden Blood (Harmony), Ninjutsu Inscription: Dazzling Evilbreaker (Erudition), and Earthly Escapade (Harmony).
The boosted 4-Star Light Cones on both weapon banners are:
- Planetary Rendezvous (Harmony)
- Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat (Nihility)
- The Story's Next Page (Remembrance)

The Ongoing Fate/Stay Night Collaboration Banners
Running separately from the standard limited banners, the Sweet Dreams and the Holy Grail collaboration event features Saber (Wind, The Destruction) on the Excalibur Excelsior banner and Archer (Quantum, The Hunt) on The Bone of My Sword banner. These went live on July 11, 2025, and have no confirmed end date.
A few important details to keep in mind about these collab banners:
- Pity does not carry over from regular limited banners to these collaboration banners.
- There are no boosted 4-Star characters; all 4-Stars have equal drop rates.
- Players at Trailblaze Level 3 or higher can claim Archer for free, along with materials to level him to 60, before version 3.6 ends.
Their signature Light Cones, A Thankless Coronation (Destruction) and The Hell Where Ideals Burn (Hunt), are available on the Birth of a King and Red Radiance of Fuyuki weapon warps respectively, also with no boosted 4-Star Light Cones.
warning
Because collab banner pity is completely separate, spending pulls there won't contribute to your soft or hard pity on regular limited banners. Keep your Special Star Passes separate if you're targeting a specific limited character.
What Are the Next Honkai Star Rail Banners in Version 4.1?
Version 4.1 kicks off on March 25, 2026, and runs through April 21, 2026, split into two phases. The standout addition is Ashveil, a brand-new 5-Star Lightning attacker on The Hunt path, who remains available for the entire version on the A Hunt Through Night banner.
Version 4.1 Phase 1 (March 25 to April 8, 2026)
Phase 1 pairs Ashveil's debut with a rerun of Hyacine (Wind, The Remembrance) on her A Rainbow onto Twilight banner. Hyacine's banner closes on April 8, while Ashveil's continues into Phase 2.
Boosted 4-Stars for both banners in Phase 1:
- Asta (Fire, Harmony)
- Moze (Lightning, Hunt)
- Misha (Ice, Destruction)
For weapons, the Brilliant Fixation banner features Ashveil's signature The Finale of a Lie (Hunt), and the Bygone Reminiscence banner features Hyacine's signature Long May Rainbows Adorn the Sky (Remembrance). Boosted 4-Star Light Cones are Shadowed by Night (Hunt), Make the World Clamor (Erudition), and Dream's Montage (Abundance).
Version 4.1 Phase 2 (April 8 to April 21, 2026)
Phase 2 swaps Hyacine out for Boothill (Physical, The Hunt) on his Dusty Trail's Lone Star banner, while Ashveil's banner continues running. The same three 4-Stars (Asta, Moze, Misha) remain boosted.
On the weapon side, Ashveil's Brilliant Fixation banner continues, while the Bygone Reminiscence banner switches to Boothill's signature Sailing Towards a Second Life (Hunt). The 4-Star Light Cones remain the same as Phase 1.
What's Coming in Version 4.2 and Beyond?
Looking further ahead, version 4.2 is set to introduce two brand-new 5-Star characters confirmed through official drip marketing from HoYoverse's social channels.
Silver Wolf Lv. 999 arrives as a new 5-Star Imaginary attacker on The Elation path during 4.2 Phase 1 (approximately April 21 to May 12, 2026). This is a distinct character from the original Silver Wolf, not a simple rerun.
Evanescia follows in 4.2 Phase 2 (approximately May 12 to June 2, 2026) as a new 5-Star Physical attacker also on The Elation path.
info
Version 4.2 banner details are based on official drip marketing reveals. Exact 4-Star character lineups and Light Cone details had not been confirmed at the time of writing, so check back as HoYoverse releases more information closer to the update.
How Do the Permanent Banners Work?
Beyond the limited-time event banners, Honkai: Star Rail offers two permanent banner options that never expire.
Stellar Warp (Standard Banner)
The Stellar Warp banner uses regular Star Rail Passes (not Special Star Passes) and is always available. It features a fixed pool of seven 5-Star characters:
After accumulating 300 total pulls on Stellar Warp, you can select any of the above 5-Stars directly. The banner also includes a large pool of 4-Star characters, including Gallagher, Guinaifen, Moze, Xueyi, and many others not available in the Departure Warp.
Departure Warp (Beginner Banner)
The Departure Warp is a one-time opportunity for new players using regular Star Rail Passes. It offers a 20% discount on a 10-pull set (you pay 8 passes for 10 warps), and guarantees a 5-Star character within 50 total pulls. Once you've used all 50 pulls, this banner closes permanently. The 5-Star pool mirrors Stellar Warp (Bailu, Bronya, Clara, Gepard, Himeko, Welt, Yanqing).
info
New players should prioritize the Departure Warp first. The discounted pulls and guaranteed 5-Star within 50 pulls make it the most efficient use of your early regular Star Rail Passes.

Should You Pull on the Current or Next Banner?
Deciding between banners comes down to a few practical questions. First, consider whether the character fits your current roster gaps. Ashveil as a Lightning Hunt attacker fills a different role than Hyacine, a Wind Remembrance character who brings healing and support. If you already have strong DPS options, Hyacine's utility might serve you better.
For players who missed Boothill on his original run, Phase 2 of 4.1 is your best opportunity to grab him before his next rerun. Physical Hunt attackers with his kit are relatively rare, and his signature Light Cone Sailing Towards a Second Life also returns alongside him.
If neither 4.1 character excites you, the 4.2 lineup with Silver Wolf Lv. 999 and Evanescia (both on The Elation path) could be worth saving for, especially if Imaginary or Physical attackers are missing from your team.
What most players miss is the importance of checking the boosted 4-Stars before pulling. Even if you don't land the 5-Star, picking up Moze or Asta as well-built 4-Stars from the 4.1 banners can meaningfully strengthen your roster at no extra cost.
