Project Moon's Limbus Company throws you into a dark, stylized world where assembling the right team of sinners can mean the difference between a clean victory and a painful loss. With hundreds of Identities and Egos available, knowing which ones are worth your resources is essential, especially as the game continues to expand heading into Canto 10. This guide breaks down the full Identity and Ego tier lists, walks you through rerolling, and covers the major content coming in the 2026 roadmap.
What Are Identities and Egos in Limbus Company?
In Limbus Company, each of the 12 sinners can equip different Identities, which function as their combat loadout, determining their skills, stats, and passive abilities. Egos are additional equippable abilities that sit on top of an Identity, granting powerful active and passive options. Choosing the right combination of Identity and Ego for each sinner is the core of team-building in this game.
info
Since Limbus Company has no competitive PvP mode, tier placement is based on performance in story content, Mirror Dungeon, and endgame challenges like Refraction Railway. Your favorite sinner is always valid to use.

Limbus Company Identity Tier List
Below is the full ranking of all available Identities, organized from the strongest (SS) to the weakest (D). Names follow the format used in-game.
SS Tier Identities
These are the top-performing Identities in the current meta. Prioritize acquiring and building these if you want to clear the hardest content efficiently.
S Tier Identities
Strong picks that perform well across most content. Many of these are excellent alternatives if you haven't pulled SS-tier options yet.
Notable S-tier highlights include Blade Lineage Mentor Meursault, Dawn Office Fixer Sinclair, R Corp. 4th Pack Rabbit Heathcliff, LCE E.G.O::Ardor Blossom Star Faust, Molar Boatworks Fixer Ishmael, and Wuthering Heights Chief Butler Outis, among many others.
A Tier Identities
Reliable and functional Identities that can carry you through most story content and standard Mirror Dungeon runs. Examples include R.B. Chef de Cuisine Ryoshu, The Pequod Captain Ishmael, W Corp. L3 Cleanup Agent Don Quixote, and Tingtang Gang Gangleader Hong Lu.
B Tier and Below
B-tier Identities are situational but still usable in lower-difficulty content. C and D tier includes starter LCB Sinner versions of all sinners, which are purely placeholder units meant to be replaced as you progress.
info
Don't spend Uptie materials on C or D tier Identities unless you're specifically farming a particular content type that benefits from their kit. Save resources for SS and S tier picks.

Limbus Company Ego Tier List
Egos add another layer of power to your sinners. Equipping the right Ego to the right Identity can significantly boost your team's output.
What's the Best Ego in Limbus Company?
The SS-tier Egos are the strongest available and worth prioritizing in any resource-efficient build.
warning
Ego abilities consume E.G.O Resources tied to specific sin affinities. Make sure your team generates the right resource types to fuel your equipped Egos, otherwise you'll find yourself unable to activate them at critical moments.

How to Reroll in Limbus Company
Rerolling in Limbus Company is more straightforward than in most gacha games. Here's how to do it on mobile:
- Launch Limbus Company and select Sign in as a guest
- Download the patch data and tap the skip button in the top-right corner
- Open your in-game mail and claim all pre-registration rewards
- Navigate to the Extract tab and pull on the Welcome Extract, Gregor, and Standard Extract banners
- If the results aren't satisfying, go to Account in settings and select Close Account to reset and try again
This process is much faster than rerolling in comparable gacha titles since you can skip most of the early setup. That said, Limbus Company is fairly generous with its currency over time, so rerolling isn't strictly necessary unless you're specifically targeting a top-tier SS Identity from the start.
What's Coming in the Limbus Company 2026 Roadmap?
Project Moon held a 3rd Anniversary livestream revealing the content roadmap leading up to Canto 10, expected sometime around August 2026 (subject to change). Here's what's confirmed:
Season 7 Mirror Dungeon Overhaul
The Mirror Dungeon launched with Season 7 in a limited state, but a mid-anniversary update will add new nodes, new relics with crafting recipes, fresh enemy encounters, and boss fights. Most notably, the Infinite Dungeon mode is returning, giving endgame players a significant new challenge to grind.
8th and 9th Walpurgisnacht Events
The 8th Walpurgisnacht is live as part of the 3rd Anniversary, featuring limited-time shardable meta-tier Sinner IDs, limited rewards, a story callback to older Project Moon titles, 2 new 3-Star Sinner IDs, and a new HE Ego for Sinclair. The 9th Walpurgisnacht was also teased, with a focus on Library of Ruina, arriving after the new story chapters and the Refraction Railway Line 2 rerun.
Refraction Railway Line 6 and Line 2 Rerun
Refraction Railway Line 6 is new endgame content that will test your team-building and strategy at a high level. Alongside it, Refraction Railway Line 2 is reopening so newer managers who missed it can finally earn those rewards.
Main Story Chapter 9.5 and Canto 10
A two-part story chapter (9.5 Part 1 and Part 2) will bridge the gap between Canto 9 and Canto 10, resolving several open narrative threads and finally bringing Bamboo Hatted Kim into the spotlight. Canto 10 itself is based on the novel The Stranger and centers on Meursault, making him an especially worthwhile sinner to invest in now.
Quality-of-Life Updates
Several QoL improvements are also confirmed, including:
- Drag-and-drop sinner deployment in the UI
- Increased announcer and loadout slots with preset options
- Multi-Battle option for Luxcavation farming
- Toggle for character UI during combat
- Lobby music customization
- Loading screen illustration options
- New theatre content
