Venom is ditching the symbiote slime for a tailored suit. The President Ozzy costume dresses Eddie Brock in sharp business attire, complete with an MVP animation where he adjusts his watch and gold rings while walking through wreckage. The best part: it costs nothing. Marvel Rivals Season 10's Jeff's Dream Eater event puts this skin on the free track, meaning you can add it to your collection without touching your wallet.
What is the Jeff's Dream Eater event?
NetEase replaced the familiar XP-tier format with a fishing-style mechanic for this event. Instead of simply leveling up a pass by playing matches, earning XP grants you Dreamcatcher attempts. You then fire a Dream Hook at a target to claim a reward. The reward you receive depends on which target you hit and which stage of the event is currently active.
The event launched on September 17, 2026 at 09:00 UTC and runs through October 15, 2026 at 09:00 UTC, giving you roughly four weeks to work through it. That's a reasonable window, but the hook-shot mechanic means progress feels slower than a standard pass since each reward requires an active attempt rather than automatic unlocks.

How to unlock the President Ozzy skin for free
The skin sits in Stage 2 of the Dream Eater pass, which means you have to clear Stage 1 entirely before it becomes available. Here's the exact sequence:
- Log into Marvel Rivals on or after September 17, 2026, once the event is live.
- Open the Jeff's Dream Eater event from the in-game events menu to activate the pass and start tracking progress.
- Play matches to earn XP, which converts into Dreamcatcher attempts.
- Use your attempts to fire the Dream Hook and clear all Stage 1 rewards.
- Once Stage 2 unlocks, fire the hook at the Venom President Ozzy target to claim the skin.
- Head to the Heroes tab, select Venom, and equip the President Ozzy costume.
You'll know the unlock worked when President Ozzy appears as an owned skin under Venom's costume list.

What's on the free track vs. the premium pass?
Most players only need the free track to get President Ozzy. The premium pass costs 990 Lattice (approximately $9.99) and is only necessary if you want the exclusive Rogue Slumber Sugah and Jeff Shark in Sheep's Clothing costumes.
Buying the premium pass also lets you collect its rewards after the event ends, even if you don't finish every attempt before the October 15 cutoff. That's worth knowing if your schedule is unpredictable.
All Stage 1 and Stage 2 rewards in full
There are over 30 unique rewards split across both stages. Clearing Stage 1 is the price of admission for the Venom skin, so knowing exactly what you're working through helps you plan your sessions.
Is the companion Superstar Search event worth doing?
A separate event called Jeff's Superstar Search runs alongside Dream Eater until October 9, 2026. It rewards a Spray, Title, and Nameplate for collecting Stars at Times Square and Hellfire Bay Beach. None of those rewards are required for President Ozzy, but since you'll be playing matches anyway to earn Dreamcatcher attempts, grabbing them on the side costs nothing extra.
If you enjoy collecting free cosmetics in shooter games, Marvel Rivals has been running a steady stream of no-cost event passes.
