Marvel Rivals Season 8 has been quietly generous with free cosmetics, and the Savage Adventure event is the latest proof. NetEase dropped this wildlife-themed event pass as part of the second wave of Season 8 content, and the headliner is a completely free Ultron Cybernetic Drip skin. You do not need to spend a single Lattice to claim it. You just need to play matches and grind to Tier 12.
What is the Savage Adventure event in Marvel Rivals?
Savage Adventure is an event-style battle pass introduced during the second content wave of Season 8. It follows the same structure as previous event passes: play matches, earn XP, climb tiers, collect rewards. The pass has 24 total rewards split between free and premium tracks.
The free track is where the Ultron Cybernetic Drip skin lives. The premium track, which costs 990 Lattice (roughly $10), unlocks additional cosmetics for Hela and Luna Snow.
How to get the free Ultron Cybernetic Drip skin
Getting the skin is straightforward. Play matches in Marvel Rivals to earn event XP, level up the Savage Adventure pass, and reach Tier 12. At that point, the Ultron Cybernetic Drip costume unlocks automatically at no cost.
The rest of the Ultron Cybernetic Drip bundle items are also on the free track, so grinding past Tier 12 will net you the matching nameplate, animated spray, and emote as well.

All Savage Adventure event rewards: free vs. premium
Here is the complete list of rewards available in the Savage Adventure pass, separated by free and premium tiers:
Is the premium pass worth buying?
If you are only here for Ultron, skip the premium pass entirely. The Cybernetic Drip skin, its matching nameplate, spray, and emote are all free.
The premium pass becomes worth considering if you want Hela's Savage Monarch costume or Luna Snow's Formula R Sonic Trailblazer costume. Those two outfits are locked behind the 990 Lattice VIP upgrade. You also get Hela's Wild Spirit Emote, the Savage Land Dark Ritual MVP animation, and Luna Snow's Set the Speed MVP on the premium track.
What else is free in Marvel Rivals Season 8?
Savage Adventure is not the only source of free rewards in Season 8. The Devil Dino Hide and Seek event, which launched the week before Savage Adventure, also hands out free nameplates, sprays, and gallery cards for completing missions. You can find the full breakdown in our Marvel Rivals Devil Dino Hide and Seek event rewards guide.
