Poogies have always been a fun part of the Monster Hunter series, and they return again in Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection. In this game, players will help a Ranger named Thea track down her missing Poogies scattered across different regions.
After finishing the prologue and reaching Azuria, players meet Thea, one of the early companions in the story. She fights alongside a Tobi-Kadachi, but she also has a strong connection with Poogies. Soon after meeting her, players unlock a side quest that asks them to locate the missing Poogies around the region.
There are 100 Poogies in total across the game, and finding them rewards useful items such as Gold Trade Tickets. Since many of them are hidden in elevated spots or unusual areas, tracking them all down can take time.

There are 100 Poogies in total in Monster Hunter Stories 3. However, not all of them are located in Azuria. As the story progresses, more Poogies appear across different biomes and regions of the game.
Monster Hunter Stories 3 Guide: All Poogie Locations
To collect a Poogie, players simply need to approach and interact with it. Many Poogies are placed in elevated areas or hidden spots, meaning players may need specific Monstie field abilities such as:
Jump
Climb
Swim
Glide
The game also tracks Poogie progress per region. Players can check the top-right corner of the map to see how many Poogies have already been collected in that area.
Can Poogies Be Used as Monsties?
No. Even though Poogies appear in certain animations and one of Thea’s Kinship Skills, they cannot be recruited as Monsties.
They function mainly as collectibles tied to Thea’s side quest, rewarding players for exploration and completing the Poogie search across the game world.
