Scattered across the map are five mushroom formations called Witch Circles. These function as the game's fast travel network, but they sit dormant until you personally activate each one. Activation requires casting Wanderer's Hex while standing inside the circle. Do it once per circle and that point is permanently unlocked. After two or more circles are active, you can jump between them freely with no mana cost.
The catch is that Wanderer's Hex costs 4 mana to cast, and your default mana pool only holds 3. You will need to raise your maximum mana before you can even attempt activation.

How to unlock Wanderer's Hex
Wanderer's Hex cannot be purchased. It comes directly from Sabrina, and the only way to get it is by building your friendship with her to 4 Hearts. Reaching that threshold triggers a cutscene event called "With a Bang." After the event ends, sleep in your coffin to pass the night.
When you step outside the following evening, a letter from Sabrina titled "A New Spell" will be waiting in your mailbox. Reading it automatically teaches you Wanderer's Hex.

The directional pattern repeats twice before ending on a final Up input. Execute it correctly and the circle activates. After that, the location is permanently registered as a teleport point.
