DOGAMÍ, a mobile pet racing game developed with support from Ubisoft and Animoca, has launched two significant updates: a Battle Pass progression system and pet cosmetics for customization. These additions deepen player engagement through seasonal rewards and visual personalization options.

Battle Pass system arrives

The DOGAMÍ Battle Pass operates on monthly seasons, each running roughly 30 days with around 50 levels to complete. Players choose between Free and Premium tracks, with the Premium tier unlocking at 500 NUBIX (the game's premium currency, convertible from DOGA tokens). Season 1 kicked off November 6th and runs for 34 days.

Progression works through Battle Points earned from daily and weekly missions. Tougher missions award more points, though standard races contribute smaller amounts. Points reset every season, so rewards must be claimed before the timer expires or they're lost. Players holding Doga Bones get experience multipliers to speed up their climb through the Battle Pass tiers.

The structure mirrors familiar mobile game progression systems but ties advancement to mission completion rather than pure playtime. Each level unlocks a specific reward, with Premium track items offering higher-value drops than the Free path.

Cosmetics add visual customization

DOGAMÍ now lets players dress up their pets with Collars and Skins. The initial drop includes eight cosmetics split across three rarity levels, all earned through Battle Pass progression or racing. These are non-NFT items for now, though NFT cosmetics are planned for future updates to enable on-chain trading.

Collar options include Horus, Snakes, Beetle, and Winged designs, all classified as Rare. Skin cosmetics change your pet's appearance with patterns like Horus Green Symbol (Uncommon), Horus Red Symbol (Uncommon), Sand Cloak with Blue Mark (Epic), and Sand Cloak with Gold Mark (Epic). These don't modify your Dogami NFT's actual stats or attributes — they're purely visual overlays.

Cosmetics apply to any pet you own or care for through the Pet-sitting feature. When a Pet-sitting session ends, equipped cosmetics automatically unequip. The system lets players experiment with different looks without permanent changes to their NFT assets.

DOGAMÍ Customization

More customization coming

DOGAMÍ plans to add an Aura cosmetic slot before year's end, with additional customization slots arriving in Q1 2025. The roadmap suggests broader personalization options ahead, giving players more ways to style their pets beyond the current Collar and Skin categories.

These updates position DOGAMÍ closer to mainstream mobile games that rely on seasonal content and cosmetic monetization. The Battle Pass and cosmetics fit standard mobile gaming patterns while leaving room for blockchain integration through future NFT cosmetics. Whether players care more about progression rewards or pet styling will likely determine how much traction these systems get.
