Two free rewards, two different methods
The Soccer Ball Toy is the easier of the two. Log into Fortnite anytime during the 24-hour event window and it lands in your locker automatically. No quests, no grinding, no special conditions. Just show up.
The second reward is the Hyundai Ioniq 6 N Line Car Body, a Sports Car cosmetic that also transfers to Rocket League once unlocked. This one requires actual in-game effort: you need to Master a Striker Sprite by getting it to level 5 and extracting it during the same match.
Where the Striker Sprite fits in
If you haven't touched Sprites yet this season, the Striker Sprite is tied directly to the soccer theme running through Chapter 7 Season 3. The most reliable way to find one is by scoring a goal at the Soccer Pitch POI, which guarantees a Striker Sprite drop, though only one per player per visit. Chests and Rare Chests also have a decent chance of dropping one, and Sprite Chests guarantee a Sprite drop with a chance it's the Striker variant.
Once you have the Sprite, leveling it to 5 comes down to opening containers like Chests and Ammo Boxes and picking up eliminations. Get it to level 5 and extract in the same match to Master it and trigger the car unlock.

The broader World Cup push in Fortnite
This event isn't happening in isolation. Fortnite has been running soccer-themed content throughout the World Cup period, including a Vinicius Jr. collaboration that brought the Brazilian forward into the game as a playable skin. There's also a free Vinicius Jr. Baila emote available for eligible players, which is worth checking if you haven't claimed it yet.
The Hyundai tie-in is part of a broader partnership that spans both Fortnite and Rocket League. Players who unlock the Ioniq 6 N Line in Fortnite will find it waiting in Rocket League as well, and vice versa.
