Immutable Games (also known as Immutable X or IMX for short), a global leader in web3 game development and publishing, has launched its flagship title, Gods Unchained (GU), on mobile devices worldwide.
The mobile companion app is now available on Google Play and Apple's App Store, giving players uninterrupted access to the fantasy realm of Eucos, where gods, mortals, and magic hang in the balance.

Mobile vs PC Gaming
Community feedback from the pre-alpha build made it clear: players wanted to take Gods Unchained on the go. The GU Mobile experience delivers exactly that with an early access build designed to complement PC gameplay, letting players hit the Arena anywhere, anytime.
The mobile release includes major improvements over the pre-alpha version. Players get Immutable Passport integration, ranked, solo, and casual modes, plus a deck builder tool that lets them refine their strategies whenever inspiration strikes.

Mobile Gaming Dominance
This launch follows a series of major milestones for Gods Unchained: its debut on Amazon Prime Gaming, re-listing on the Epic Games Store, and the launch of Season 2, 'Far Horizons', which included the first major expansion 'Tides of Fate'. That update brought striking new artwork, exclusive rewards, and fresh strategies woven into intriguing storylines.
Mobile gaming is projected to grow 4% year-over-year to $111.4 billion in 2024, positioning Gods Unchained to capitalize on the shift. Video games commerce company Xsolla recently released the winter 2024 edition of its State of Play Industry Report, offering a comprehensive look at the global gaming landscape.
That report shows mobile gaming accounted for 72% of overall game revenues in 2023, reflecting the continued dominance and profitability of mobile games.

Daniel Paez, Executive Producer of Gods Unchained, shared his thoughts on the mobile launch.
"Your mobile is probably one of your most important devices, which is why it was important for us to give players the freedom to choose where they want to play, whenever they want."
"For anyone who has ever wanted to play a quick game on the go, GU Mobile now makes it possible. Players have the opportunity to transform into a hero, villain, or even a giant, food-obsessed feline at the touch of their fingertips. We can't wait to see where fans end up playing GU."
"With the mobile gaming industry poised for significant growth in 2024, now is an exciting time to launch GU Mobile. It's a major milestone in creating seamless transitions between desktop to mobile gaming."
"This is just the beginning, so stay tuned."

The Gods Unchained mobile companion app is available now on Google Play and Apple's App Store. Players can also access Gods Unchained on desktop (PC or Mac) via the Epic Games Store and Amazon Prime Gaming. For more information, visit the official Gods Unchained website.

Exclusive Quote
Daniel Paez, Executive Producer of Gods Unchained, provided additional thoughts on the mobile launch.
"The making of GU Mobile has been a project for multiple years and was not a decision that we made on market data alone. Being multi-platform was a no-brainer for Gods Unchained as it gives players the freedom to play matches on the go, make strategic decisions with their decks when they are thinking about it instead of waiting until they're home. It's a great companion to the PC experience. Not only was our pre-alpha test last year successful with a strong community response, but launching GU on mobile will also allow us to reach even more players."
"The mobile market has been a cutthroat, red ocean for years now due to the intense amount of competition and changing ad and regulatory landscape. The advantage we have moving in is we have an existing community that has enjoyed and supported the game for years now, giving Gods Unchained a strong foundation to build on now that it's a cross-platform game. Games live and die by their communities."
