First, What is MetalCore?

MetalCore is a sci-fi MMO featuring large-scale mech combat, PvPvE battles, extensive crafting systems, and a player-driven economy. Set on the hostile planet Kerberos, players start as infantry and work their way up to commanding fleets of mechs and war machines. The game is built on Immutable zkEVM, making it the first title developed directly on that blockchain.

The game has earned recognition including the Global Blockchain Show's Best Blockchain Game of the Year and our GAM3 2022 Award for Best Shooter Game. Its signature "scanning" mechanic lets players harvest blueprints from destroyed enemy units to craft new weapons and vehicles, adding a resource-gathering layer to the combat loop.

Introducing MetalCore Arena

MetalCore Arena is an idle battle game centered on league-based competition. Players assemble customizable squads of mechanized units and infantry, each with distinct abilities. The launch mode is Capture the Flag, where teams attempt to seize the enemy flag while protecting their own.

Matches include live commentary to add atmosphere to the competitive experience. Players can form or join leagues of up to 20 participants and challenge each other up to three times per day in unranked friendly matches. These skirmishes let players test strategies before committing to ranked play.

Progress tracking includes leaderboards, daily battle logs, and base upgrades. MetalCore Arena will be free to download on Windows PCs. A mid-range system and stable internet connection are recommended for smooth performance.

Unique New Features and Gameplay

Additional league types will arrive in post-launch updates. At release, gameplay focuses on Capture the Flag, with more modes and formats coming later. The Intelligence Command Center provides detailed opponent and match data to inform strategic planning.

Players organize team formations using unit and vehicle cards, configuring separate lineups for offense and defense. This system allows adjustment of team aggression and tactical approaches. Units and vehicles take damage over time and require resources to repair and heal.

The roster includes multiple infantry types, each with unique abilities and stats. Future updates will add new mechanized units and deeper customization. Training sessions will be introduced later, enabling players to improve units' physical conditioning, strategic capabilities, and combat effectiveness. Customization will expand to include squad roles and formation options.
