The closure comes shortly after the studio severed ties with popular gaming personality Dr. Disrespect, also known as Guy Beahm. The decision to part ways followed allegations that Beahm had engaged in inappropriate conversations with a minor while on Twitch, an issue that had remained largely undisclosed for years.

While these facts are difficult to hear and even more difficult to accept, it is our duty to act with dignity on behalf of all individuals involved, especially the fifty-five developers and families we have employed along with our community of players.”
