Picture a vine-covered building with plants sprouting through the floorboards, sitting just across the railroad tracks from Castle Plaza. That is the Community Center in Paralives, and it launched on May 25, 2026 in exactly that sorry state. Restoring it is one of the game's most rewarding ongoing goals, and the system behind it is more layered than it first appears.

Community Center bundle tables
The four bundles powering the restoration
Inside the Community Center, four tables hold colored books, each representing a different donation category. Green covers Funding, yellow covers Art, blue covers Technology, and red covers Food. Each bundle has its own requirements, its own sourcing challenges, and its own reward waiting once completed.
Here's the thing: the bundles are not equally demanding. Technology is the lightest lift of the four, requiring only the Gamini gaming set (a computer, desk, and chair) purchased through the in-game shop by pressing Tab and navigating to the Furnishings tab. The computer runs 1,508 Paradimes, the desk 160, and the chair 297. Once bought, items need to go into your Household Inventory before they can be donated.
Funding, Art, and Food require more legwork
The Funding Bundle has five tiers, with the first requiring 5,000 Paradimes. Each subsequent tier stays hidden until the previous one is cleared, so players will not know the full cost upfront.
The Art Bundle splits into four levels: Art Bundle 1, Art Bundle 2, Famous Painting Bundle 1, and Famous Painting Bundle 2. Art Bundle 1 asks for any painting worth more than 300 Paradimes. The Famous Painting levels demand specific works, including Landscape with the Good Samaritan, Emma Hart as Circe, and Woman Combing her Hair. Both regular and famous paintings can turn up inside Buried Chests scattered around town, those partially-visible wooden chests poking out of the ground that reward a random item when dug up.
Cook food donations when your character is not hungry. A hungry Parafolk will eat the donation before you get a chance to submit it.
The Food Bundle is the most involved of the four. Three categories are visible from the start: Cake (Confetti Cake, Chocolate Cake, Cheesecake), Simple Meal (Microwaved Hamburger, Spaghetti Marinara, Ham Sandwich), and Common Mushroom (Oyster, Porcini, King Trumpet). Completing Simple Meals unlocks the Gourmet Meal Bundle, and finishing Common Mushrooms reveals the Rare Mushroom Bundle, which asks for Black Trumpet and Turkey Tail varieties.
Mushrooms spawn randomly in the ground around town. Hovering over a suspicious patch will highlight it white and show the mushroom type. Cakes and meals require either a high enough cooking skill to prepare at home or a trip to the town cafe to buy them ready-made.

Collecting mushrooms for donation
How the actual donation process works
Every item destined for the Community Center must sit in your Household Inventory first. Items purchased through the shop can be added via the build menu (Tab), selecting the item, clicking the three-dot menu, and choosing Add to Inventory. Items collected in the world, like mushrooms and paintings from chests, land there automatically.
At the Community Center, selecting the relevant colored book opens your Household Inventory alongside the bundle requirements. Donations go through one item at a time using the blue Donate button. A green checkmark appears on already-donated items, so there is no risk of losing track across multiple sessions.
What most players miss is that completing a full bundle flips the question mark reward box to reveal either an item image or a Paradime amount. You have to click it manually to collect.
What this means for how you play
The Community Center is not a side activity you clear in an afternoon. The Funding Bundle alone has five hidden tiers, the Art Bundle requires hunting specific famous paintings from random chest drops, and the Food Bundle gates two of its five categories behind completing others first. It is a long-term restoration project woven into the broader rhythm of exploring, cooking, and building in Paralives.

The center before restoration
For players who want to tackle it systematically, the Paralives guides collection is worth bookmarking as more community knowledge builds around the game's launch content. The full scope of what each completed bundle actually changes about the building has not been fully documented yet, which makes the Funding Bundle particularly interesting to watch unfold.
