PEAK Makes $17 Million in Revenue

In June 2025, Steam's top-selling games mixed breakout new releases with long-running hits. PEAK led the charge, moving over three million copies shortly after its mid-month launch. Other standout titles included the Chinese-exclusive FMV dating simulator Revenge on Gold Diggers.

Popular games like REMATCH, Elden Ring Nightreign, and Stellar Blade also dominated the charts. The month highlighted continued strong sales from established favorites such as R.E.P.O. and Stardew Valley, reflecting diverse player interests and regional markets across the platform.

PEAK Dominates Steam Sales

PEAK Sells Over 3 Million Copies

PEAK sells over 3 million copies in June

PEAK took the top spot as the best-selling game on Steam for June 2025. Released on June 16, PEAK moved around 3.1 million copies, pulling in $17 million in revenue. The player overlap with other popular titles is striking. Over 60 percent of PEAK players also own R.E.P.O., while 40 percent have Content Warning. About 30 percent of PEAK's audience have played games like Chained Together or Lethal Company, which share similar gameplay elements and themes.

Revenge on Gold Diggers dominates in China

Another standout title in June was Revenge on Gold Diggers, an FMV dating simulator available only in Chinese. The game moved 1.3 million copies, with 73 percent of sales coming from China. The United States made up about 10 percent of its player base. This title's strong regional performance shows how localized games can carve out significant market share on Steam.

REMATCH and Elden Ring Nightreign make their mark

REMATCH secured third place with 1.1 million copies sold and nearly $30 million in revenue. Elden Ring Nightreign matched that figure in sales on Steam, adding 1.1 million copies. Combined with 1.3 million copies sold on PlayStation, the Elden Ring spin-off continues to perform well across platforms.

Stellar Blade launched with 1.1 million copies sold, over half of which came from China. R.E.P.O. also continued its steady climb, moving 1.1 million copies in June and bringing its total sales to 15.4 million copies. With an estimated $121 million earned, it remains one of Steam's consistent performers.

Other notable titles and upcoming games to watch

Dune: Awakening joined the million-seller club in its launch month. Meanwhile, Mecha Break, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, and Killing Floor III are titles worth keeping an eye on heading into July 2025.

Deltarune, from the creators of Undertale, took the eighth spot with 788,000 copies sold. Sixty-three percent of its players also own Undertale, and 40 percent are from the United States. Despite these strong numbers, Deltarune still has more than two million wishlists unclaimed on Steam.

Star Wars Battlefront II made the top ten with 751,000 copies sold, thanks in part to the Star Wars franchise celebration and a hefty 90 percent discount. Rounding out the list, Stardew Valley continues to hold player interest years after its initial 2016 release, moving 583,000 copies in June.
