Pixel Heroes Adventure (PHA) has announced its detailed roadmap for 2025, showcasing a variety of updates, events, and features designed to elevate the player experience. The development team has worked diligently over the past months to address community feedback, implement improvements, and expand gameplay opportunities. This roadmap marks an important step in PHA's evolution, introducing new earning mechanisms and setting the stage for its official launch.

Pixel Heroes Adventure is a retro-style MMORPG built on the Ronin Network. The game, previously known as Meta Toy City, underwent a rebranding in May 2024 and now brings an old-school, pixelated aesthetic combined with modern play-to-earn mechanics.
Players can expect to battle bosses, collect loot, and trade in-game items while earning rewards in the form of NFTs and tokens. The game will enter open beta on October 22nd, with Android and iOS players able to explore its pixelated world and participate in various reward systems like the Play-to-Mint and Play-to-Airdrop campaigns.

Lunar New Year and Task Board Updates
On January 22, PHA will unveil a renewed Task Board system aimed at providing players with more engaging opportunities to earn rewards. The updated system allows players to collect PlayPoints and additional Keys, enhancing their in-game progression. A new feature, the $MGT Withdrawal Coupon, will also be included as a reward, offering loyal players greater incentives.
The Lunar New Year will be celebrated with a special in-game event starting on January 22. This limited-time event introduces unique rewards and activities, showcasing upcoming Life Content and Player versus Player (PVP) features. On the same day, the Dark Summoning System will be introduced, allowing players to sacrifice Primal HeroZ to summon Elite Primal HeroZ. These elite characters bring higher PlayPoint earnings, increased multipliers, and additional gameplay buffs, providing players with new strategic opportunities to enhance their HeroZ lineup and maximize rewards.

Play-to-Airdrop Campaign and Referral Royalties
The Play-to-Airdrop (P2A) campaign will reach its first settlement in the first quarter of 2025. This initiative rewards active participants with $ADVTR tokens, encouraging continued engagement in the PHA ecosystem. Although these rewards will remain off-chain until the token generation event (TGE), they mark a significant step toward integrating real-world value into the game. Alongside this, the Referral Royalties Program will launch with a select group of partners. This program shares a portion of spending from referred users with partners, incentivizing user referrals and supporting the long-term sustainability of the game’s economy.

In the first quarter of 2025, PHA will introduce ADVENTURE LAND NFTs, which expand the immersive game world. These NFTs provide unique ownership opportunities and enable players to explore Adventure Land, a vibrant realm where HeroZ and ToyZ can gather resources, build villages, and conquer dungeons. This update also introduces new earning mechanisms, empowering landowners to discover new territories and generate income from their efforts.
The expansion of ToyZ continues with the second part of Season 3 in early 2025. This update will bring new Mythical ToyZ, enriching the gameplay experience with deeper lore and narrative elements. In the second quarter, the ToyZ Transcendence System will allow players to enhance their ToyZ, granting them improved stats, unique abilities, and new visual designs. Weekly rotation events will also be introduced, featuring themed challenges and rewards that encourage consistent player engagement and add variety to the gaming experience.

PVP, Raids, and Guild Updates
The second quarter of 2025 will see major updates to PVP gameplay. Field PVP will enable players to compete over Elite Monsters and Field Bosses, while the introduction of 1vs1 PVP Battles will offer ranked duels with exclusive rewards and leaderboards. Additionally, guild content will expand significantly with cooperative features such as Guild Raids, shared tasks, and strategic expeditions. A new Guild Token system will be introduced, allowing guilds to mint unique tokens and creating a player-driven economy that enhances collaboration and shared ownership.
The introduction of 8-player raids will bring challenging cooperative gameplay to PHA. A new raid boss will appear every three weeks, accompanied by dynamic mechanics that ensure fresh and engaging content. These raids are designed to promote teamwork and strategic planning, offering players unique rewards and deeper gameplay experiences.

Beyond the planned updates, PHA hints at potential future developments that could further enhance the game. These possibilities include profile picture NFTs for personalized identities, humor-driven community memes, and AI companions to assist players during their adventures.
