Yaku Corp, in collaboration with XAI, has launched the Tournament of the Kami, a free-to-enter PvP tournament hosted on Epic Games. Players worldwide can compete for a share of a $50,000 prize pool.
The tournament kicked off with Qualifying Rounds running until July 21st. The top 10 players will advance to the Final Round, where they'll compete under a special ruleset revealed 48 hours before the match begins.

The world of Yaku
Set in a dystopian 2089, Yaku Corp presents a world controlled by the mega-corp Saikou. A substance called Seisui has sparked resistance from three races: Cyborgs, Shinigami, and Robots. Players join the fight against Saikou's control, engaging in dynamic combat, customizing avatars, and participating in an in-game economy built around the $YAKU token.

Yaku is an open-world 'hack n slash'MMORPG with both single-player and multiplayer modes. Players can customize avatars, own land, and participate in real-time action combat. The Nexus Hub acts as the starting point for adventures, while Capsules let players display their acquired assets.
