The ADOPT ME HALLOWEEN! event is live on Roblox through October 31, 2026, and it brings four new pets, a proper progression loop, and enough limited-time items to keep you grinding for weeks. The core currency is Candy Corn, earned through the Ghost Gallery Minigame at the Manor and daily quests. Four new pets are up for grabs: three through Candy Corn or free play, one through Robux. Here is everything you need to know to claim all of them before the event closes.
How does the Ghost Gallery minigame work?
The Ghost Gallery sits inside the Manor on the hill at the center of the Halloween area. Climb the staircase, enter through the front door, and stand in the circle with other players to join the queue. Rounds run on a repeating 10-minute schedule, and a pop-up alert appears before each one. Tap it to teleport straight into the queue without walking back.
Each round lasts 150 seconds and splits into two phases. For the first 75 seconds, smaller ghosts slip inside furniture across the two-floor room. Your equipped pet can sniff them out, the furniture highlights, and you click it with your Ghost Blaster to break it open. Each piece of furniture can hold up to three ghosts, so clearing one item can net multiple hits.

At the 75-second mark, the small ghosts disappear and the Ghost Boss emerges. Its health bar has four sections. Empty one section and it breaks apart into three smaller ghosts you must clear before the boss reforms for the next phase. The boss attacks with a wide knockback radius that briefly stops you from firing, so step back just before it strikes while staying close enough to keep shooting. Teamwork drains the health bar significantly faster.
Your score at the end determines your Candy Corn payout, up to 5,000 per round. Defeating the boss also grants one Crypt Key. Leaving early forfeits both rewards, so stay until the boss falls.
Other ways to earn Candy Corn
Daily event tasks are the second-biggest source. Open the event icon in the top-left corner and check the purple pumpkin tab on the Task Board. Tasks rotate daily and can include meeting pet needs, playing the minigame, or opening a Crypt grave. Completing them awards 4 Crypt Keys per day.
A bonus pile of Candy Corn builds up near the Nursery and can be collected at any time. The Stray Cat NPC outside the Manor trades 50 Candy Corn once per in-game day for an edible item from your inventory. Potions and non-edible foods are rejected, so bring actual food items.
For 50 Robux, a gamepass raises all Candy Corn earnings by 25% for the duration of the event. If you plan to grind heavily, it pays for itself quickly.

How does the Crypt work?
The Crypt sits below the hill, to the right of the Manor. Inside you will find locked graves across four underground levels. Each grave costs one Crypt Key to open and rewards either 1,000 to 2,000 Candy Corn or a Twig. One grave per floor also reveals a ladder down to the next level.
Rewards are randomized with no predictable pattern. Your daily supply of keys is the only real bottleneck, since you earn 4 from daily tasks and 1 from each Ghost Gallery boss defeat.
The Crypt is also where the free Mummy Spider lives. Reach the bottom of all four levels and claim it from the silky nest on the final floor. The moment you adopt it, the entire Crypt collapses and resets, letting you run it again from scratch. Four Mummy Spiders combine into a Neon, making this the most achievable free Neon of the event.
What pets are available and how do you get each one?
How to get the Mummy Spider (free)
Use Crypt Keys on graves across all four levels, find the ladder on each floor, and work your way to the bottom. The Rare Mummy Spider waits in a nest on the final level with no Candy Corn cost attached. Claim it, let the Crypt reset, and repeat as many times as your daily key supply allows.
How to get the Jacobin Pigeon (4,000 Candy Corn)
Some Crypt graves drop Twigs instead of Candy Corn. Collect 8 of them, then follow the signs near the Nursery to the Haunted Hotel. Find the nesting area inside and place all 8 Twigs in it. Once the Common Jacobin Pigeon settles onto the nest, the adopt prompt appears for 4,000 Candy Corn. The bird does not show up until all 8 Twigs are placed, so the Candy Corn cost is the final step, not the first.
How to get the Jumpscare (40,000 Candy Corn)
The Rare Jumpscare is the ghost waiting at the Manor doors. No Twigs or Crypt progression required. Save 40,000 Candy Corn through Ghost Gallery rounds, daily tasks, and pet care, then adopt it directly from the Manor. It is the most expensive Candy Corn pet of week one, so prioritize your other targets first if you are short on time.
How to get the Jester Dragon (1,000 Robux)
Head to the Carnival near the Nursery and look for the colorful circus tent. The Legendary Jester Dragon circles alongside it and costs 1,000 Robux. There is also a free giveaway through the official Adopt Me Discord's Ghost Gallery Coloring Giveaway, which runs until October 8. Entries require at least three distinct colors and a Level 5 server status. The prize includes the Jester Dragon plus FR Potions, and AI-generated pages are not eligible.
What is the best order to claim everything?
Start with the Mummy Spider. It costs nothing, resets the Crypt on claim, and four copies make a Neon. Run Ghost Gallery once early to secure the boss Crypt Key, then complete daily tasks for the 4 additional keys. Work through all four Crypt levels and collect every Twig along the way.
Once you have 8 Twigs, take them to the Haunted Hotel and save 4,000 Candy Corn for the Jacobin Pigeon. After that, keep farming until you hit 40,000 for Jumpscare. Leave the Ghoul Mobile (44,500 Candy Corn) and Orbweaver Glider (59,000 Candy Corn) until your pet targets are locked in.
Buying every week-one pet and item costs roughly 181,250 Candy Corn total, so setting priorities early matters.
What limited-edition items can you buy with Candy Corn?
Beyond pets, Candy Corn buys accessories, a vehicle, a glider, a stroller, and more from shops around Adoption Island. A few items cost Bucks instead.
The Monster Mansion costs 13,000 Bucks rather than Candy Corn and comes with three animated Halloween furniture pieces. The Jack-o'-lantern and Cat-o'-lantern home furniture items each cost 40 Bucks.
Candy Corn farming strategy
Ghost Gallery is the backbone. Your activity during each round directly affects your payout, so stay mobile, clear furniture quickly, and keep shooting the boss through all four health sections. Exiting early loses the full round reward, so commit to finishing every run.
Fill gaps between rounds with daily tasks and pet care. The 200 Candy Corn per pet need adds up across a full session. If you have edible food items to spare, the Stray Cat NPC near the Manor adds another 50 Candy Corn per in-game day for almost no effort.
For players chasing the Jumpscare specifically, avoid spending Candy Corn on accessories and vehicles until you hit 40,000. The Ghoul Mobile and Orbweaver Glider look appealing but will set back your pet timeline significantly if bought early.
