Liz's apartment is not somewhere you stumble into by accident. The Liz House cutscene in Roblox Animal Hospital sits behind a specific photo quest, a shift count requirement, and one dialogue choice that most players either miss or pick too late. Get any of those three wrong and the visit never happens, at least not in that run.
What do you need to do before the Liz House invite appears?
There are three gates standing between you and the apartment cutscene, and they all have to clear in order.
First, you need to complete Liz's UV camera quest in full. She introduces herself as Lisbeth on her first visit to reception, hands you a camera, and names a patient she wants photographed. That sequence repeats four times across separate visits, each one naming a different anomaly. Second, the run has to reach at least Shift 15. The invite realistically shows up around Shift 17, so surviving the mid-game stretch is non-negotiable. Third, when she finally extends the invite, you have to select Go to Liz's House from the dialogue options and then finish that shift without dying.
Miss any gate and the cutscene is locked for the entire run.

Taking the four correct photos
The UV camera only works at the check-in window. It does not function in rooms or hallways, so do not bother trying it elsewhere. When a named patient shows up at the window, open the camera and take the shot before doing anything else with that patient.
The patient's name is spoken when Liz visits, but it is also written on a post-it note on the wall behind reception for exactly the moment you forget. Read the nametag on the patient before firing the camera. A wrong face wastes the photograph and ends the quest entirely for that run.
You do not need to admit the patient after the shot. Photograph them, then turn them away if you want.
What happens between photo visits
Liz returns between each shot to talk through what the pictures show. One of those mid-quest visits includes a line about patients visiting the hospital before you started working there. If you are hearing that, you are still in the photo chain, not near the apartment yet.
After the fourth correct photo, she comes back to say the pictures were enough to publish the story. That visit feels like a conclusion. It is not. She returns again after the piece runs, and then one more time with the actual house invite.

How to survive long enough to reach Shift 15
Sanity is what ends most runs before the invite ever appears. The coffee machine is the most reliable tool for keeping it topped up. A single brew takes about 48 seconds, so work it into your routine between patient checks rather than waiting until you are critically low.
Hiring Sam early helps considerably. He handles fires, slime, and certain anomalies like Hiders that eat up time you need for other tasks. The Barney quest is also worth completing: give him coffee when he asks, take his suitcase, hand over a scalpel, and let him hide in your office. The reward is a second coffee pot, which means more sanity recovery throughout the run since Barney stops coming back to drain yours.

How to trigger the Liz House cutscene
Once the photo quest is done and the shift count is high enough, Liz visits reception one final time. She says the investigation moved forward and asks if you want to see what you are really dealing with. She tells you to meet her at her place after the shift.
Select Go to Liz's House from the first dialogue option. She confirms she will send you there when the shift ends and tells you not to mention it. Finish the rest of that shift normally. The cutscene does not trigger mid-shift, only at the shift-end screen.
You will know it worked when the usual return to the hospital floor does not happen. Instead, you are taken directly to her apartment.

What happens during the Liz House cutscene?
The apartment visit covers a significant amount of lore. Liz walks you through a whiteboard covered in newspaper clippings about the hospital, documenting anomalies and patients who keep returning in worse condition each time. Her conclusion is that the anomaly situation is not a random outbreak. It is scheduled, meaning something or someone is deliberately orchestrating it.
There is a box of pizza on the table. Pick up a slice. Pizza restores around 50 Sanity and can be eaten in three separate pieces, so hold onto slices and use them when your Sanity is dropping fast back in the hospital.
Ratthew also shows up during the visit. He has been exploring the vents at the hospital and recorded what he found. You can watch his tape by putting it into the TV in the apartment, which gives a preview of where the game's lore is heading.
The visit ends abruptly when someone who resembles the Secret Agent but wearing an Agent R skin knocks on the door. Liz tells you to run, and you are teleported back to the hospital to continue your run as normal.
What are the cutscene lockouts and how do you avoid them?
If Liz never extends the invite, the photo chain is either incomplete or the shift count has not reached 15 yet. If she did invite you and the cutscene still did not play, the most likely cause is dying before the shift ended after accepting.
The lock applies to the current run only. Starting a new run resets everything, meaning the photo quest begins again from the first visit.
