Slayers 2 has a lot going on, but the Roguelike Dungeon mode stands out as one of the most replayable parts of the game. You go in stripped of your usual gear and skills, build a character from scratch using cards, and try to push as deep as possible through 100 floors of escalating enemies. The problem is the game barely explains any of it. This guide covers everything: how to start the mode, how the card system works, what builds actually survive late floors, and every reward you can earn along the way in Roblox.
How do you start the Roguelike Dungeon mode?
Accessing the mode is straightforward once you know where to look. From the main menu, press the Hub button to open the game mode list. Scroll through until you find the Ouwigahara Roguelike option, select it, and queue. The game will connect you to a server and the run begins automatically from there.
What happens when you enter a Roguelike Dungeon run?
The moment you load in, everything you built in the main game is gone. Your stats, skill trees, equipment, and unlocked abilities do not carry over. You play as a Hybrid, which means you have access to both Demon and Slayer skill types, but only if you earn them through cards. Your Fist, Sword, and Level Mastery all start at 150, and your only weapons are a Fist and a Katana.
The word "Roguelike" appears at the top of the screen to confirm you are in the mode, and you have a separate health bar from your normal character. Think of it as a completely fresh character that you build from zero over the course of the run.
How does the card system work?
Every few minutes, the game pauses wave progression and presents you with a selection of cards. Each card offers something different: new skills, weapon upgrades, or stat boosts. Picking the right cards is the single biggest factor in how far your run goes.
Your card choices define your build entirely. A run where you grab strong AOE skills and damage cards early will feel completely different from one where you chase healing and trophy points. The latter will not get you far.
What cards should you prioritize?
After testing builds across many runs, the priority order becomes clear pretty fast:
Damage stat cards should be your first pick whenever they appear. Raw damage output is what lets you clear waves before they overwhelm you.
Weapon refinement cards stack well with damage and should be grabbed early alongside damage boosts.
Damage reduction cards become your second priority once your offense is established. Surviving long enough to see more card selections matters.
AOE skill cards are worth taking over almost anything else in the mid-game. Later floors throw large groups of enemies at you, and single-target skills fall apart fast.
The Cartographer Card is arguably the most underrated pick in the entire mode. It lets you choose which map you play on next, and some maps have elevated positions where a single strong AOE move clears entire waves without taking damage.
Healing and Trophy Points cards should generally be skipped unless your health is critically low. The opportunity cost of taking a healing card over a damage or AOE card is too high in most situations.
warning
Stacking healing cards as a crutch will slow your build down significantly. A run that survives longer on weak damage will eventually hit a wall where enemies simply outscale you.

How to reach higher floors
The floor structure is wave-based, and difficulty scales steadily as you climb. Getting past floor 50 consistently requires a build that has both strong AOE coverage and enough damage reduction to absorb hits from elite enemies. Here is what separates runs that stall at floor 30 from ones that reach the Summit:
Lock in your damage and AOE foundation in the first 20 floors. Do not experiment with unusual card combos until your core is solid.
Use the Cartographer Card to filter out maps that funnel enemies into tight corridors where AOE is less effective.
Save your best burst skills for elite or boss waves rather than burning them on standard mobs.
By floor 60 and beyond, damage reduction becomes just as important as offense. Runs that ignore it tend to collapse in the 70-80 range.

All Roguelike Dungeon rewards and Token costs
Clearing floors earns you Ouwigahara Tokens, with payouts happening every 10 floors. The rewards scale up sharply in the back half of the run, which is why pushing past floor 70 is worth the effort even if earlier floors feel slow.

Reaching and clearing the Summit (100th floor) nets you a total of 42 Tokens across the full run. That is the maximum you can earn in a single run.
What can you buy with Ouwigahara Tokens?
After finishing a run, head back to the portal area to find the Token shop, which sells cosmetic outfit accessories. Nothing here is gameplay-affecting, but some items are genuinely worth the grind.

The Blossom Crest Haori at 200 Tokens is the standout pick. The three masks and helms are priced at 120 each but offer less value relative to cost. The Desert Prowler Outfit at 320 Tokens requires multiple full Summit clears to afford, so target the Haori first unless you are specifically farming for the full set.
Building your character beyond the dungeon
The Roguelike Dungeon is a self-contained mode, but the skills and knowledge you build here translate directly to how well you understand Slayers 2's combat systems. Learning which skill types synergize and how AOE coverage changes your survivability will make you better across all content.
