The Blox Fruits Hellfire Halloween event has two main activities: timed Trick-or-Treat doors and pumpkins you can smash throughout the event. Use the 10-minute Harvest Moon window to collect Candy Corn and look for Hell Rider, then hunt Jack-O-Lanterns for more currency and Pumpkin Bits. Candy Corn pays for Spooky Halloween Gacha rolls, while Pumpkin Bits go into Witch potions and the Great Pumpkin King summon. The headline reward in this Roblox event is the Hellfire Gas mutation, with limited accessories and profile backgrounds also in the reward pool.
When does the Hellfire Halloween event run?
The event runs October 31 through November 15, 2026. Harvest Moon begins at the start of every hour, at XX:00, and lasts 10 minutes. During that window, the world turns into Halloween night and Trick-or-Treat doors become available across all three seas.
How should you organize each hour?
Build your routine around the door window, since Jack-O-Lantern hunting remains available between Harvest Moons:
- During Harvest Moon, knock on doors for Candy Corn and special encounters.
- Watch for a flame-covered door that leads to Hell Rider.
- Between Harvest Moons, smash Jack-O-Lanterns for Candy Corn and Pumpkin Bits.
- Visit Zioles for gacha rolls, and keep the ingredients needed for your preferred Witch recipes.
Where is the Spooky Halloween Gacha?
Speak to Zioles, the Gacha NPC, to access the Spooky Halloween Gacha. You spend Candy Corn on its rolls, and the gacha can be rolled twice every hour.
| Sea | Zioles location |
|---|---|
| First Sea | Middle Town |
| Second Sea | Inside the Cafe at Kingdom of Rose |
| Third Sea | Outside the Mansion on Floating Turtle |

What can you get from the gacha?
The grand prize is the Hellfire mutation for Gas Fruit. It brings new passives, M1 attacks, and Z, X, and F skills, alongside fire-themed moves and a transformation.
The named accessory and profile-background rewards are:
- Mummy Headdress Accessory
- Pumpkin Mask Accessory
- Coven Witch Hat Accessory
- Full Moon Player Profile Background
- Halloween Tapestry Player Profile Background
- Hallow Forest Profile Background
The reward pool also includes physical fruits, money, Halloween materials, and potions. For a reference on the wider fruit roster, check the Blox Fruits fruit prices and rarities guide.
How do you earn Candy Corn and Pumpkin Bits?
Trick-or-Treating earns Candy Corn during Harvest Moon, while Jack-O-Lantern hunting provides both Candy Corn and Pumpkin Bits throughout the event. Choose your activity around the clock and the materials you need.
| Activity | Availability | Rewards | What you need to do |
|---|---|---|---|
| Trick-or-Treat doors | First 10 minutes of every hour | Candy Corn and special encounters | Knock on doors and complete any challenge you receive |
| Jack-O-Lantern hunting | Throughout the event | Candy Corn and Pumpkin Bits | Smash pumpkins and defeat any pumpkin NPCs that appear |
How do Trick-or-Treat doors work?
Interact with doors on islands across the three seas during Harvest Moon. A Treat awards a random amount of Candy Corn. A Trick gives you a minigame, and you must complete it to receive Candy Corn.
Door challenges include memory games, tracking the Oni, and helping the Shipwright. Failing a challenge means leaving that encounter without its Candy Corn reward, so give the task your attention rather than rushing through the interaction.
You can also meet Zioles behind a door. He offers Candy Corn or a free roll, with fruits such as Kitsune appearing as the grand prize. That special encounter is another reason to keep checking doors during the short Harvest Moon window.
Why hunt Jack-O-Lanterns between Harvest Moons?
Jack-O-Lanterns appear around islands without requiring Harvest Moon. Smashing them gives you Candy Corn for gacha rolls and Pumpkin Bits for Witch recipes, making pumpkins the activity to return to when the doors are unavailable.
Some pumpkins turn into NPCs that you must defeat. These enemies match your level and award more Candy Corn and Pumpkin Bits than a regular pumpkin. Finish the encounter to collect the larger payout.

Pumpkin hunting between events
How do you find the Hell Rider boss?
Look for a Trick-or-Treat door covered in flames during Harvest Moon. That door leads to the Hell Rider encounter. Nearby doors also turn into portals, allowing other players to enter the fight.
The flames are the useful visual cue. Keep checking doors during the hourly event, and watch for the portal changes around a Hell Rider encounter. The Werewolf also returns as a possible boss encounter behind Trick-or-Treat doors.
Hell Rider can drop a Spooky Potion. Using it creates a zone that grants Candy Corn to anyone standing inside its boundaries, giving you another way to earn event currency after securing the drop.
What do the Witch potions cost?
Visit the Witch and her cauldron to brew throwable potions. Pumpkin Bits are the common ingredient, but most recipes also require another material. Check the full recipe before spending your bits on an effect you only want for a quick joke.
The appearance-changing and dance potions are for mischief. Lava Bomb Elixir creates a damaging area, while Poltergeist Potion makes affected players and props float.
| Potion | Ingredients | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Poltergeist Potion | 60 Pumpkin Bits + 2 Angel Wings | Makes affected players and props float |
| Soul Swap Elixir | 100 Pumpkin Bits + 1 Cursed Pumpkin Seed | Swaps your appearance with another player |
| Big Head Elixir | 30 Pumpkin Bits | Enlarges the affected player's head |
| Disguise Elixir | 10 Pumpkin Bits + 1 Fish Tail | Temporarily changes the affected player into a random boss |
| Lava Bomb Elixir | 60 Pumpkin Bits + 1 Gunpowder | Creates a lava area that damages anyone touching it |
| Monster Mash Elixir | 10 Pumpkin Bits + 30 Ectoplasm | Makes nearby affected players perform the Monster Mash dance |
| Suspicious Growth Potion | 20 Pumpkin Bits + 1 Radioactive Material | Randomly makes the affected player larger or smaller |
| Pumpkin Potion | 60 Pumpkin Bits + 1 Bones | Gives the affected player a pumpkin head |
Which ingredients should you save?
If your goal is the Great Pumpkin King, reserve its summoning materials before brewing appearance-changing potions. Soul Swap uses a Cursed Pumpkin Seed, and every recipe in the table draws on the Pumpkin Bits you also need for the summon.
How do you summon the Great Pumpkin King?
Speak to the Witch NPC beside her cauldron and select I want to fight the Great Pumpkin King. She requires 3 Cursed Pumpkin Seeds and 200 Pumpkin Bits to brew the potion used to summon the boss.
The summoning process is:
- Gather 200 Pumpkin Bits and 3 Cursed Pumpkin Seeds.
- Find the Witch and choose the Great Pumpkin King dialogue option.
- Have her brew the summoning potion using those ingredients.
- Use the potion to summon the Great Pumpkin King.
What should you prioritize before November 15?
Choose your main goal before spending Pumpkin Bits and seeds. The Hellfire Gas mutation comes through the Spooky Halloween Gacha, so that pursuit centers on Candy Corn and your hourly rolls. The Great Pumpkin King instead requires the Witch's summoning recipe, while the throwable potions compete for some of those same ingredients.
Use Harvest Moon for doors, hunt pumpkins between windows, and protect your Great Pumpkin King ingredients if you want the summon.
