Far Far West Co-Op Guide: Party Size ...

Cosmetics are half the fun in a game like Far Far West, and emotes are the most expressive piece of that puzzle. Whether you want to salute your squad after a clean run or just stand there T-posing as a philosophical statement, the game has 12 emotes spread across four rarity tiers. Most cost gold. Two require actual effort.

Here is the full breakdown.

Where emotes live and how to equip them

All emotes are found in the Rootin' Tootin' Shop, accessible from the lobby. Once you buy or unlock an emote, you equip it by clicking one of the circles beneath the character preview. You can slot multiple emotes and swap between them freely.

To actually use an emote in a match, press T. That is it.

The full emote list by rarity tier

Emotes are sorted into four tiers: Normal, Fine, Prime, and Mythic. Higher tiers cost more gold and, in two cases, require challenge completions instead of a direct purchase.

Normal tier (200 gold each)

Four emotes sit at the base tier, all priced at 200 gold:

  • Waiting - your character taps their foot impatiently
  • Salute - hand raised to the temple
  • Lasso - arm swinging like you are wrangling something
  • Clap - hands out, clapping in the air

These are the most accessible picks if you just want something in your rotation quickly.

Fine tier (350 gold each)

Step up to 350 gold and you get four more options with noticeably more personality:

  • Cowboy - wide stance, duel-ready posture
  • T-Pose - the classic, iconic, unhinged video game stance
  • Sweet Old West - playing a harmonica
  • Sweet Old West 2 - strumming a guitar

The two musical emotes are genuinely charming for a western-themed game. Sweet Old West and Sweet Old West 2 pair well if you are running with a group and want to coordinate.

Prime tier and the first challenge emote

This is where things get interesting. The Rocking Chair emote costs 600 gold and has your character sitting and rocking back and forth, which is exactly as funny as it sounds mid-lobby.

The second Prime emote, Dead Weight, cannot be bought at all. You earn it by completing the 'lose ten missions' challenge. Yes, you have to fail on purpose (or just... fail). It is a keeled-over, panting animation that fits the unlock method perfectly.

Mythic tier: the one that takes real work

Prisiadki is the only Mythic-tier emote in the current roster, and it is a proper challenge unlock. The animation has your character dancing with arms crossed and feet jutting out rhythmically, which is one of the more dynamic emotes in the set.

To unlock it, you need to complete the 'find disc fragments' challenge. This challenge can be completed on the Far West map, so that is your starting point if you are hunting it down.

What this means for completionists

Getting every gold-purchased emote costs 2,850 gold total, which is a reasonable grind for active players. The two challenge emotes add a layer of progression that keeps the cosmetic system from feeling purely transactional.

The Prisiadki unlock in particular ties into the broader secrets and collectables side of the game. If you are already working through hidden items across maps, the Far Far West secrets and collectables guide covers disc fragments alongside every other collectable across all six maps, which makes tracking down the Mythic emote a natural part of a full completion run.

For players who want to round out the rest of their progression alongside emotes, the full Far Far West guides collection covers everything from weapon unlocks to medallion locations.
